I visited this store when it was still toysrus. The people their were great and were happy to help. Recently it was remodeled to tru + bru. When I visited today, I found the management was horrible and I was tortured by the worst ever customer service. I wanted to buy a pair of shoes for my sun but the last pair with the right size was on display. So I tried to find somebody to help me. After I talked to the cashier at the front desk, nobody came to help me in the following 15 minutes. The few employees moved around in turtle speed and obviously didnt care about the needs of the customers. Then I called the cashier (the only employee that I could find at that moment) again and finally an employee came after another five minutes. Then she told me I had to get the managers approval if I really want to buy the display pair. OK, I talked to the manager and the employee went away in turtle speed to find the device for releasing the display pair. After another 10 min waiting I complained to the manager. Surprisingly he was very rude and didnt want to say sorry at all. He tried to say they were doing things in right speed and right manner. I really wanted to get the pair for my son otherwise I had already left and would never visit again. Finally and finally, I got the pair and asked if I can get any discount because it had been on display. OK I admit I asked a stupid question since I already known what kind of people they are. The manager quickly answered no with his rude attitude. After almost one hour, I bought the shoes for my son and got to know how the garbage management would ruin a previously good store.

The head store manager is very unprofessional and RUDE! I loved shopping at this store but he has made it very unpleasant for me. This store has went downhill since he has become manager. Hope he leaves soon so i dont ever have to deal with his rudeness or even look at his face. They need a more welcoming person in that position!! I recommend going to the summit where there managers are excellent and take pride in each and every customer!!! And never had a bad experience there just this one is closer but worth the drive not to have to deal with a rude unprofessional manager!!!

While theres obviously a SOMEWHAT decent variety of things to buy here since the stores main focus is toys, Ive found much better selections of certain types of toys, even something as basic as Transformers, at department stores like Target. Its amazing how much this place has gone downhill over the years; back when it was just a Toys R Us it was always an amazing place to be.

I was here in September. The store was clean and organized. I could not find what I came for but a staff member helped me out by searching their inventory. Unfortunately this Toys R Us doesnt carry what I was there for, battery powered slot car race track. Ill be back when Im in Hoover looking for toys.

They only had 1 person working a register and she was pretty new and had to have a manager constantly to help her. Very frustrating to those in line.

Said they were open online @ 8 for holiday hours get to the store its locked! Its 8:33. Even states on the door for today holiday hours 8am-9pm.

Only 1 register open at 4 on a Saturday... A mess of toys everywhere. The manager is as rude as they come. I recommend just going to Target.

They do not close at 8 on Sundays. They close at 7. That needs to be changed. Other than that, its a great store.
