Back in late February I walked into Destination Harley-Davidson in Silverdale because I needed some eye protection for a bike I had just bought from a friend. I walked in waiting to feel like I didnt fit in. I thought, I wont look like these people, I wont be welcomed here and they will judge me. I could not have been more wrong. Loren, Erik, JJ, Nathan and the rest of the crew there talked to me like a regular normal human being. They did the best thing I think anyone can do, they gave me the info I needed to make a decision. When I walk into a place to buy something or just shop around, all I am looking for is info. I am not looking for a pressured sale or for someone to BS me and get me to make a decision. I am happy to report that I did buy those sun glasses that day. They did such a good job I also bought a helmet and a jacket. 3 Visits later, I rode a 2016 Fat Boy S home. It was my first Harley. They let me and encouraged me to test drive every bike I wanted to. They didnt try to get me to commit to anything except having the experience of riding a Harley. I happen to have a lot of experience in sales and at a pretty high level. They did it right. There is more to this story so I hope you are still reading. A month later I was looking at getting another bike, a Dyna. I thought, I am going to hunt down the best deal I can find. I had ruled Destination out because being a dealership, I knew their price was going to be higher. I found a couple of bikes I liked at a couple of different dealerships. Then I happened to drive by Destination Silverdale the day before I was to purchase my new Dyna and took a look at their used stock. They had a great 2014 Street Bob but it was a bit out of the range from what I would spend at the other dealerships. I talked to one of the sales folks and told them, "Im gonna be totally straight up with you, Im looking at a different bike because of X,Y and Z. Tell me why I shouldnt buy that bike." They let me know what I knew already, I had no idea where this other bike was coming from. It was part of a lot. In addition I had no recourse if I got the bike and it ended up being a POS. JJ also took the time to go over the records for the bike they had and was willing to work with me on the price. Moral of the story, I have two Harleys now and they both came from Destination Harley Silverdale. Im sure there are other dealerships out there and I am sure that they provide great bikes and great customers service. This one is mine. These folks are good folks. They were up front with me, they gave me the info I wanted and they allowed me to make any decision in my time, not theirs. One more thing. There is a 1 Star review from someone here and if you take the time to look at the rest of the reviews this person has left, they are all crappy. Im sorry if they had that experience but I have had the opposite experience and I am also sure that Destination would be more than happy to make it right with him. Thats why I like these guys.

These guys suck. Every time I have been in this place I always walk out disgusted. Ive bought parts in here twice and each time its like trying to work with monkeys at the parts counter to find the right thing. They have all the tattoos and rings in their nose but have no idea of the mechanics of the bikes they sell parts for at astronomical prices. The second time I was in for parts they even brought a mud monkey mechanic from the garage to tell me what I had in my bike and that I was seeing something that had been added at some point in a garage. My bike has never been in a garage, ever. I do all my own work myself and would never even consider handing my bike over to one of these snakes. Its almost as if everyone working there has no idea what theyre doing....Upon receiving my parts they had to be returned and reordered a second time as there were loose bearings with no type of packaging on them and missing fasteners to complete the service. After paying $527 for parts that fit into a lunch box you would think they would at least all be there and in the correct new condition. I would just as soon see this place burn down as look at it. I would NEVER recommend this place to even my worst enemy, much less go there ever again for parts or another bike.

I am giving Destination of Silverdale a whole extra star for how nice their staff is to talk to. When you come in they are friendly and have no problems telling customers just what they want to hear. My motorcycle was taken in for repairs in late July. After a week or two I was assured parts had been ordered. I received a phone call in mid September finding out they would not be able to get all the parts, the work schedule had the bike on the lift in two days nearly 60 days after the bike entering the shop. Each time I contacted the shop I received polite service and was misled more. This shop seems to be run as inefficient as possible at the cost of its employees and customers. I cringe at the idea of ever having to use Destination Harley-Davidson of Silverdale again.

“Our 2001 Road King, is our ride we cant get enough of. We did buy the bike from the owner of Eagle Rider in Maui, and it was a bit misrepresented. We cannot say enough about the team at Silverdale Harley. They get our bike in when they know we need to ride, and they make sure it is safe. When we broke down in the town of Squim, on Memorial Day weekend, Jerry and crew trailered us back to Silverdale. They absolutely went above and beyond any expectation. We cannot say enough about the team they have, with Stormy and Jerry keeping it going. I can say this for sure, my next Harley will be purchased from Silverdale, they have won our loyalty ”

Wonderful staff, great experience. After looking for a car all day, this was a pleasant relief as the purchase of my Iron 883 was easy smooth and simple. The staff is nice and very knowledgeable, and make you feel at home to ask any question without feeling embarrassed as it is my first motorcycle I actually didnt have to ask too many questions as they were all answered for me with courtesy and intelligence. After purchased I was welcomed as a new Harley owner which was a great feeling, the sales guy Erik was great and we will be back to get my other half her bike as soon as she is able. Thank you guys!

Incompetent? Liars? Arrogance? Today was the last time, whenever I go here for parts I get a bad arrogant attitude EVERY time. Today I called out for a minor fastener and was told the were 2.00 each I need 4, when I got there to pick them up its 19.00 I tell the bad attitude clerk I just called and was told they were in stock and 2 buck each his response was "so" that response let me know they dont care if it was a mistake, incompetence or something else but I have a solution I will tell everyone I know about my experience and pick up parts in Olympia or online....problem solved.
