If I were to write about exactly how great the service is at Northwest Harley, youd mistake me for a paid reviewer, or the owner of the shop or something. Oh well, here goes...! In August of 14 I was in the middle of a 5000+ mile cross country trip, and my bike needed servicing. After trying no fewer than five dealerships along the coast from Monterey north, (one of whom in the Bay Area literally laughed at me on the phone when I asked if he could squeeze in a traveler having on the road problems; I wont be giving them any business ever), Id resigned myself to trying to do the work myself in a parking lot somewhere, and hoping for the best. As one last hail-mary try before reaching the Canadian border, I gave NW Harley a call. Explained what was up to the gentleman in service, and he said hed find the time to squeeze me in when I was passing through. Sure enough, next morning they got right to work on it. Did the service that needed doing, and even found and fixed problems my local dealer was supposed to have done on my pre-ride servicing (that was wasted money courtesy of a certain southern Nevada dealership). Took the time to go over everything with me, and explained what all they did, and what would be needed during my next service. Bike was fixed, running like new, and shiny and clean in just a few hours! Furthermore, their parts lady was incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful. When she couldnt find a couple of accessories I was looking for, she took the time to search dealerships along my route to see if any of them had them. Another nice young woman in apparel bent over backwards to help me find some new cold weather gloves as well. (By the way, Northwest Harley had a larger than normal selection of apparel and accessories from brands other than Harley Davidson; great selection for shopping). I cant speak to their sales department, which Im sure is pushy and stingy with trade in allowances just like sales departments everywhere. (Seriously, Ive owned a dozen motorcycles from a dozen dealerships, and buying a bike is the same anywhere). But for their service and parts departments alone, Id come back here to buy my next bike if I could! These guys are what all Harley dealerships need to be like, as I believe any dealership that sells touring bikes but wont help out tourists on the road needs to have their franchise revoked. Thanks, Northwest Harley!

What you will find here is a locally owned and operated family business that puts you first consistently, every single time. I have worked at 2 Harley Dealers in AZ and 1 "custom" shop up in Pierce County over my 12+ years of HD experience in positions ranging from Mechanic to Management. I can tell you with complete honesty that I would never want to work or buy anywhere else. This independently operated family business is owned by 2 men that genuinely care about each and every guest that walks through that door and you will see that reflect on every employee you come into contact with. NorthWest Harley-Davidson is known as "The Friendliest Shop On The Westcoast" and when you come in and visit here, I think that youll agree. A dealership with a heart and always placing the relationship with each and every guest as the #1 priority. I used to work for Joe and Julio, the ownership team at NWHD, but my review here was not solicited by or known about by them. I could go on and on about the ownership of the place and the support they provide for the customers, staff, motorcycle community and the Thurston County area. I would watch for this shop to continue to build its reputation as the best Motorcycle Dealership or Shop in the Pacific Northwest.

My husband originally purchased a Sportster Forty Eight last month. Wanting to go more miles that he had originally planned, he decided to trade his new Forty Eight for a Dyna Street Bob. We decided to go back to NW Harley due to their competitive pricing. We worked with Toby and Phil and they were really great to work with. They understood our position and took the time to present different offers that would be advantageous to our financial situation seeming that we had a brand new vehicle to trade in. They really helped us get to a good payment and gave us a trade in price that no one could have come close to. We really appreciate the extra effort they took to help us and get us a trade in value no one other than NW Harley-Davidson could have gotten us. Thank you!!

Parts department is ok, though they are sometimes clueless when it comes to certain parts, but stay away from the service department. I am sure they can change oil, maybe even some tires, but anything beyond that is pure guess work on their part. After spending $250 there, my bike wouldnt even run. It may have ran rough beforehand, but at least it ran. The Harley shop in Vancouver, WA had it running the next day, perfectly, because they know what they are doing and apparently NW Harley DOES NOT! Just be careful where you spend your money and where you have your bike worked on.

These guys are awesome! We were on a trip from Utah and got a screw in our tire. Called Destination Harley and Downtown Harley to get it changed. No dice....they were too busy! Stopped into Northwest HD in Lacey and Nick, the service manager took us right in! WOW! What a great experience! We got to know Jill, the wonderful lady running the Two Wheel Cafe. They surely live up to their reputation as the friendliest dealership around! Dont waste your time with the dealers in Seattle if you want perfect service when you need it...not just when you have time to schedule it!

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. I had a 5k service done and there were some runability issues when I got my bike back. The team jumped at the opportunity to make it right. They ended up doing another costly service that might not even have been their fault. I got my bike back and it runs better than it ever has. Because of the respect and the caring I received I will never go anywhere else to have my bike serviced. When its time to get another scooter Im going to Northwest Harley.

I needed to sell my 07 street bob, I called before making the long distant ride and they were very interested in my bike. I told them I wouldnt make the ride if they werent at least in my ball park of what I needed, they happily said it would be very close. To make it short they offer 2 g short of the original offer than by the time they look at the bike they offer 4 g short......not even the ball park....take your bike somewhere else, dont bother. Not honest or trustworthy!

I went to NW to buy a new King. They told me to shop around and find the best deal because their store policy is "We will meet or beat any deal!". I got a good offer from Downtown HD and went back to NW. They told me they would not meet it. OK. But in addition they would not allow a dealer transfer of the bike they had in stock for Downtown to sell me. What jerks. BBB is next stop.
