INSPECT YOUR ITEMS!!! If I could go negative on this I would. On a Saturday, I dropped off a family heirloom diamond ring to have it cleaned and a chipped small side stone replaced, I had to pay in advance. They stated it should be finished by Friday and they would call. Two weeks later I havent heard from them so I stop in and the ring is ready. When I looked it over I could see something was not right so I asked to view with their scope. They didnt replace the chipped diamond! They only cleaned that ring! I wonder how many people they fooled in this way. The manager came over all apologetic and stated she would get to the bottom of the problem. Found that the cut of my diamonds was different than the ones they keep in stock and would need to special order. Said it should be complete by Friday and she would personally call me and she is so sorry this happened. I asked, HOW could this happen??? No note, no communication internally that there was a problem with this order??? She was so sorry. Two weeks go by and I had not heard from her. I call and talk to the general manager and explained the situation. He apologized and said it was ready. When I went in they gave me my ring and I inspected under the scope. The color and quality of the diamond they replaced was NOT in line with the rest of the diamonds in the ring and the manager work with me (the same one who was supposed to call me and never did) talked to me as if I was an idiot and how could I not see that the quality was really the same. "You must move the ring around to really see the characters." Oh, really? Huh, thanks for that advice Captain Obvious. After arguing a bit I was just ready to leave and she said ok. I said, um, you are supposed to give me my chipped diamond back. She asked if she could see my ring, to ensure she would get the right size. Im like, really? Its not filed under my name, plus it should be the only one with the "special cut" that you dont keep in stock. She brought me a small diamond, I was so angry at this point I jut took it and my ring and walked out. But they were sorry for my trouble {eye roll}. Their apologies mean absolutely nothing and do nothing. Telling me your sorry doesnt fix the all the issues here. I will NEVER go there for anything, ever again, and I will tell everyone I know not to go there, either, unless they want to be ripped off. Terrible, just terrible.

Our Jared sales associate put pressure on us to buy a ring we werent interested in "just in case" because it happened to be my size (mens 8), and we were getting married in a couple weeks. They assured us several times that if we didnt like the ring, we could easily return it after the honeymoon. We found another ring we liked much better and planned to return the one to Jared after the honeymoon. When we tried to make the return earlier this week, they told us we were about a week past the 30 days for return and that our only option was to pick out another item in the store on the spot if we didnt want to keep this ring. The 30 day return policy was never mentioned in person (though they knew when our wedding was), it was only buried on the second page of an 8 inch square, two page receipt with hundreds or thousands of words. We then asked to speak to the manager, and Rick Mann came over and said that we could have three days to choose another item, and asked if we had any events coming up that wed like to purchase jewelry for. No, we dont. We called corporate Jared two days later and were told we could have until the end of the month to make an exchange for some other overpriced jewelry we dont want with no event coming up that wed like to purchase jewelry for. But they absolutely refuse to make a return. Wed just sell this on eBay, but Jared literally sells things for 10 times the price elsewhere. This ring that they sold us for $296.79 including tax is available on eBay or Etsy for $30 with great reviews.

I had a horrible experience with this store from the start. I bought a levian chocolate diamond ring. I was sold on 15% off for opening a 0% interest card. The diamonds in the ring that they had was not very dark, not like you would expect a chocolate diamond to be. I was told they can get a ring in by the end of the week to see if the diamonds were darker like I wanted. The person that sold me the ring was the manager and really only wanted the sale. 3 weeks after this conversation I still had not heard ANYTHING, no calls, no emails. Upon calling the store and threatening to return the ring they were able to overnight 2 rings to the store for me to look at. Those two rings were no better. They then overnighted 2 more the next day. And one of those worked. I was then charged interest on my 0% interest card. Joyce, the lady that helped me get the ring I actually wanted after the manager failed to help me in any way was amazing. She saved the sale. Also, to get it resized does not take 2-3 hours like they say. Its actually more than 24 hours. This was an absolutely horrible experience. 6 different trips to the store, more time to resize the ring than promised, a month to get the ring I wanted, and then they charged me interest on the card that is 0% interest. Worst customer experience of my life. Thank god I only plan to buy a wedding ring one time. I will not recommend Jared to anyone ever. In fact I plan to let everyone know my experience with Jared so that they are aware of what they are getting into.

Terrible customer service! I was in the area with my now husband and we needed to purchase a wedding band to match my custom ring , we found one and the Manager actually helped us and it was a great experience. A few weeks later I was back in the area to drop my ring off to have jeweler soder both rings. Since I do not live in the area, they agreed to have the ring sent to J.B. Robinson (who is a sister company of Jared) in Saginaw. They never called to let me know it was shipped to the store nor did the J.B. Robinson store ever call to let me know my ring was delivered! Horrible customer service! On top of all this, my watch which was purchased from Jared a few years ago the battery needed to be replaced and it is a watch that has to be sent out. Of course they call to let me know it is ready and again I ask that it can be shipped the gentlemen I talked to said he would look into it and let me know, 2 weeks goes by (I was out of the country, otherwise I would have followed up on my own) and I dont hear anything! I call and again they have to get a manager approval for this.. no apologizes or anything! I would never recommenced Jared due to the horrible customer service, which is a shame since I really like the selection in jewelry.
