Nothing but a disappointment. So far Ive been swindled by this dealership. I mean I expect a bit of craftiness from a Car salesman but nothing like this where the entire management sole purpose is to cheat and con you. The management will never take responsibilities for their actions. The basic line I have so far received was " I dont know what you were told...and I dont know anything about it" and they will leave it at that. No customer satisfaction at all, once they have your cash. They will avoid you like the plague. Before purchasing the car, I was told that the spot of rust on the side will be repainted by their specialists and that they were going to install a special lock on my door. It was the Salesman "Joe" that promised me that and now its been about 5 months and I call weekly and I still get the same answer of someone should have called me and hell check into it. Its been 5 months...Still no answer at all. The finance manager is a gem too. I told him I didnt want any special dealership protection and extra warranties. Well he added them anyways even after I signed the paper work stating I didnt want it. So they added an extra 5 grand to my bill which i still cant take off due to the very helpful nature of the Main Finance Manager "Chris". then he told me I would get my contract back after it has been finalized in the mail. I still dont have my contract, and they never seem to want to give it to me because Ive tried many times, and they always tell me its locked or no one can help at the moment. Apparently it is Fort Knox at the dealership and the equinox has to take place to open it. Bottom Line: Avoid

I completely regret purchasing my Golf TDI from Antwerpen VW. I should start with how I ended up where I am. I went to Antwerpen on the recommendation of a friend. I got there and worked with Justin, who the whole time was very shady with me. After repeatedly asking to see hard numbers all I could ever get out of anyone was a monthly payment number. I had originally gone in wanting to buy a GTI, so I did. Only between the GTI and the TDI, I lost the entire value of my trade in, roughly $4000. I, like most people were under the impression that Maryland had a cooling off period, however when signing paperwork at 9:30 at night being rushed out the door, I didnt catch that part of the contract. The next day after deciding that the GTI was more car than I really needed I wanted to take it back, only I couldnt actually take it back, it then had to be traded in. Again, no one would be up front with me through the entire process. The only person who was upfront about anything seemed to be the finance guy, who wasnt there when I had bought the GTI the night before. On top of that, I asked when the 2016 models were coming out, and whether or not VW would be doing anything with 2015s, I was told there wouldnt be new models for a long time, and sure enough a few weeks later, there were commercials for an end of year sale. To sum it up, bought a GTI, had it for less than 24 hours, and lost $4000 in the process of trading it in for a TDI. Whatever you do, DO NOT go to Antwerpen, there are a handful of other VW dealers around who Im sure are much more straight forward and honest than these guys.

Despite all of the negative reviews, Ive had nothing but spectacular service with Antwerpen VW. I originally bought my CC in January of 2010. Great experience during the purchase. Since then, Ive had my 10k, 20k, 30k service along with some repairs at the body shop. Norm (Body Shop Manager) is the nicest guy in the industry. He helped me deal with a front valance repair from road debris, and worked with my insurance multiple times to make sure everything was done right. Despite the amount of times I called to make sure things were going right, he was always on top of his game. Wayne, and the gentleman in the Service dept helped me with handling Fidelity warranty to look at my tires when I noticed some sidewall cracks. It was a manufacturer defect, but they gave me sound advice and also were very prompt and helpful with any issues or questions I had. Ive also had the detail service done, and theyve done an immaculate job. They have also provided me with a Loaner car with no issues or questions when I asked and basically have made every experience a great one. Oh, they also replaced a couple things for me at no cost, that were out of the terms of the warranty, like a bulb here or there too. ... So, if you know who youre looking for, are nice, theyll be great back. I find being very communicative helps them remember you and understand the help you need. All around - Great. So, read reviews with caution.

To begin, I totalled my new car after 1.5 months. Needing a new car I went looking to lease a car until I could pay down my debt from totalling my last car. I was very pleased with how I was treated, nice courteous sales staff, they werent pushy and listened to what I wanted and needed. I first met with Devin Anderson, he was great and showed me around the lot knowing that I wasnt looking to spend a lot of money and that I was most likely going to opt for a low-option jetta. He showed me enough that I felt comfortable committing to the lease, so I came back the next day after work and Devin was busy so Justin Gambino helped me and he was equally impressive. Was very knowledgeable about the leasing process and helped explain to someone who has never leased before. Ultimately I leased a jetta S, manual. When I signed the papers I didnt know how to drive stick but Justin and I went around the lot a few times and he taught me how to drive the car I just leased. I strongly recommend this dealership and Volkswagen financing. To get a similar lease on a Honda Civic was almost $50 more per month, for a car with a higher resale value. Antwerpen and their staff treated me fairly and I plan on going back when this lease is up. To top the whole experience off, Justin and Devin drove with me back to my home to deliver the car I drove in and the car I leased, so I didnt have to drag a friend or family member with me to pick it up.

We have bought 3 cars from this dealership and the first 2 were wonderful cars no problems. We just bought a used Hyundai that had only 14500 miles on it. There were several things they had to fix off the git go and they did them. But about 2 or 3 weeks later there were problems with the cooling system which was one of the problems they "fixed" after we bought the car. We had to pay over 800 to get the repairs completed. We understand when you buy a used car that things can go wrong but really?. I contacted the general manager and explained what had happened and that the car was my daughters and she was a recent college grad with student loans and asked if there was anything they could do since part of the problem was something they claimed they had fixed. He was very understanding and asked for the bills to be sent to him so he could see what if anything he could do. After a couple of weeks I finally got an answer...he could offer us 10% of the monies we had to pay. Eighty dollars! is all they offered. A loyal customer for years and they offer 10%. When I said I expected a little more considering we have bought 3 cars from them 7 years I was told sorry this is what they can do. I told them since Antwerpen appeared to need the 80.00 more than a poor college grad they could keep it. NOT HAPPY AND WILL NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.
