Okay first off I will not be doing business with Verizon on 4th street anymore, here is why.... I get to the Verizon store and I have to wait a while (thats fine because it is busy) and then finally I am up,the gentleman who was helping me barely knew anything. I wanted the Droid Turbo 2 and the Moto Maker is not working, so he goes to try to find someone to help fix it...15 minutes later he comes back to tell me that the only person with the pass code to get it working has left,I ask can he text the person for the pass code and his response was "Oh we dont like to bother people after they are off work" ummmm what the heck, why is this person the ONLY one to have this pass code, thats stupid and highly unprofessional. So I leave the store, next day I call and ask if the Moto Maker is working and the person says they can just customize my phone on the computer...(why didnt anyone tell me this the day before so I didnt have to leave empty handed?) So the person on the phone makes me an appointment for 6pm. Finally 6pm comes and we arrive at the store,Im thinking I will be getting my Turbo 2 customized today.....ohhhh noooo, the gentleman tells me,that in order for Me to get my phone customized I have to turn in my current phone now....WHAT???? Why and how does that make any sense? What if there is an emergency,or I get a call for a job....so then I ask the gentleman helping me,why didnt they tell me this on the phone when I called? All he could do was shrug his shoulders and say "I dont know" the lack of customer service, unprofessional skills, and lack of communication is beyond me. I get that this store is a corporate store but they sure did NOT act like it. I left this store with nothing but disappointment and anger. I will not be returning to this store at all.

Fernando at Verizon on 4th Street easily deserves 10 stars if it was an option. He offered the best customer experience I have ever received, and I am not easy to impress. I came to the store needing to activate one of my 3 old phones, and to add a line. I was apprehensive about coming to the Verizon store because of my past customer experience. I am so glad I came. Fernando took care of my service needs like I was family. He was kind, patient, respectful, and genuinely wanted to help. He offered relevant solutions and didnt try to sell me something I didnt need. He listened patiently and explained information clearly, without rushing me or talking over my head. He made it about me. Fernando went above and beyond helping me find the best deal on a new phone (as none of my old phones worked), and even recommended a discount on my data charges, which meant that the phone and the line would virtually pay for itself! ***** Thank you, Fernando, for your outstanding efforts. You are why long-time customers, like me, are with Verizon. *****

I recently brought my own device to test the Verizon service against competitors like AT&T, T-Mo etc. The major carriers offers similar services and Ive chosen Verizon because of my in store experience at the 4th street store. I was lucky enough to meet Gadiel who I found to be exceptionally honest and straightforward during the sign up process. Gadiel answered all my questions, looked for answers he was not 100% positive about and made the process painless. A few days later at the Apple store when another unrelated issue arose, I mentioned Gadiel to the Apple employee I was working with and he could not say enough positive things about Gadiel. The apple employee (a former Verizon employee) had known Gadiel for 10 years through two employers and also agreed Gadiel was an outstanding individual My experience at the Verizon 4th street store was positive as have 99% of my contacts with Verizon employees from a store staff to regional managers.

my experience at Verizon has been alright Ive been with them for most of my life using a cell phone problem is and I dont want this to become anyone elses problem I recently had an HTC One that I loved it was very user friendly and always did what I asked it to I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy s6 and I want you to know that I hate this phone it makes everything so much more complicated than it needs to be you have to be here at like five buttons to go from voice messaging back to text messaging after it write some bogus text that no one in their right mind would ever say I dont know who set up the voice texting on samsung but theyre far from where HTC is again if youre going to get a new phone golden htc youll be much happier I think Samsung should stick to TVs...samsung phones suck and will take more of ur time than HTC. you want to have more time doing what you love dont buy Samsung by HTC and life is good

Verizon Stores SUCK I have been a long time Verizon customer and this store was awful!! I went in to upgrade my old Motorola SLVR to something better. Of course its the same day the Iphone 4 came out for Verizon. So I wait for my number to be called and get this prick named Trever. The first thing I tell him is Im not here for an Iphone, I just want a simple phone to make calls on. The whole rest of my visit the guy tried selling me a phone with a data package after I made it clear thats not what I wanted. He made me feel like a second class citizen in front of my pregnant wife and dissed me for being content with my ipod touch. COMMISSION sucks for customers go to Walmart for your upgrade thats what I did and was more than happy.

Customer service sucks slow clueless people I went in there cause my ladies brand new phone she paid full retail for on the Verizon edge plan took a crap after a month of her having it so we went in to get it figured out and they got her a new phone but its a refurbished phone which is bullshit CAN SOMEONE SAY CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT cause they dont credit any money back for the full retail you pay for the phone in the first place not to mention I told the lady to ship it to my work so I can sign for it and instead she sent it to my house it aint rocket science these people should go wait tables or pick grapes that is if they can even get that right Morons

The service is slow even as soon as they open. Its not just this Verizon but every other Verizon too. There is no person to person service. It looks like a bunch of lost people waiting for direction. For a service that boasts in being the best I see you falling short my friend. Sometimes a good old fashioned line works great.... I am paying $200 more for the same service as I did with T-Mobile, with shitting service for me the customer.... never falling for the propaganda again....and it took me doing my own research to find that by 25% I have been overpaying for my service being a veteran...... thats a shame

I know that customer service, good customer service can be overlooked as a skill. This store isnt even on the same page when it comes to understanding what customer service is all about. From the moment I walked in to buy a case for my phone to the moment I quickly left the store they wanted to sell, sell, sell me something. I know they are trained in badgering that is for certain, but a little time spent with learning some tack and basic courtesy would help. Ive been to other Verizon locations where my experience was very good. This store is not one of them.
