Wow! What a great find. Cork Dork was recommended by a friend to me. So my wife and I decided to check it out. Let me start by saying that we love wine. We enjoy all varieties but do not necessarily know a "good" wine from a "bad" wine. We believe a good bottle is what we like. That being said, we have yet to find a bottle at the Cork Dork we didnt like. The owner, who is there every time we visit, has outstanding recommendations for every budget. Since the store is very small, space is limited and every wine seems to be there for a reason beyond taking up shelf space. We highly recommend this place. Check it out.

I am always a little hesitant of people opening wine shops; a lot of times, the owners are people that hardly know anything about wine, but want to cash in on a trend. However, Cork Dork seems to truly love wine and took plenty of time to share his passion with me. He helped me pick out a sparkling white that KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF - that, alone, makes him a great guy! Even if you know nothing about wine (or perhaps especially then), stop into Cork Dork. He will help you!

This little place is amazing. Dont be fooled by this small shop; they have everything you need. This is one of the best wine shops in the city. Dont come here if you are looking for yellow tail, although you can still get a very solid wine for around 9 dollars (or you can get something absolutely amazing for around 20). The guys that run it are really cool and know every nuance about every single bottle they sell.

Was here with my wife yesterday for the third time in the last 18 or so months. Each time weve stopped here the staff is patronizing and condescending to those of us with limited wine knowledge. And dont dare ask if they stock a wine or item you dont see. They go off on a rant about being small, niche, etc. We left twice without purchasing anything. Theyve been given three chances, I will not set foot in here again.

I love having Cork Dork in the neighborhood. I really appreciate having a curated selection of wines since I get lost in the big stores. The shop always has a nice selection of wine varieties that hadnt been in my repertoire before shopping here - albarino, torrontes, beaujolais, Theyve added some great craft beers too. When I buy here I feel like I cant go wrong.

I cant emphasize how much I love this place. It is so unpretentious, yet has one of the most well curated selection of wine in the city. You can pick up a really solid wine for 9 bucks, or splurge on a $25 bottle that will rock your world. The laid back dudes who work here are extremely knowledgable about every bottle they sell. Good beer selection too.

Good neighborhood alcohol source. Its not a huge store, so this isnt the place to go for a wide selection. However, whay they do stock is an interesting assortment of wines and beer with a small corner of liquor. The staff is very knowledgeable and make excellent recommendations!
