I had moved in to the surrounding area about some time ago and started hitting the local liquor stores to see what each had to offer. France 44 stood out for their wine selections and their well-organized American craft beer selection. I was so impressed by this that I decided to become a member of their co-op program. They also have a Cicerone on staff to help educate yourself about the various styles. Not only am I paying the lowest price for my beers but I also get 5% dividend to boot. Sure, I could go to the big box store down the road and spend an hour trying to make sense of where anything is, or I can support a local business. To me it was a no-brainer and Im glad I discovered the place. Since initially writing this review I have moved out of the area but I still make the journey to purchase weekly.

As a Belgian, I appreciate the large selection of Belgian beers (including Gouden Carolus, Kasteel bier, and many other not too common Belgian beers). The recommendations posted next to the bottles are the right ones. Having said that, the service is disappointing. E.g. they dont sell a single glass that goes well with the aforementioned beers (hey, I am Belgian, I care about this stuff! Ask a French to pour wine in a plastic cup and see how he/she reacts...) So, when asked about the availability of the appropriate glasses, the reply you get is "I have what the brewery sent me." End of conversation. Then at the register, the guy that rings you up, roughly handles the bottle and throws it in a brown bag. The fact that theres a micro-cosmos living at the bottom of the bottle did not seem to bother him.

I really like the beers on tap in the cheese shop especially when they have dark beers like Darkness. I love the beer selection in the liquor store. I wasnt impressed by the sandwiches in the cheese shop. The bread should have been toasted or heated. It was too tough. I wouldnt get it again unless they changed that. It would be nice if they added arugula or some other green and also had spreads that werent so over the top spicy. The bread though was the main drawback. I love the sandwiches at Lake Street Liquor Cheese shop. Theres really no comparison between the 2 places. Its that much better.

The Best!!! If they dont have it they will order it. Very friendly staff, great parking and a great location. Everyone is helpful if you want them to be but not annoying. I am not too knowledgable when it comes to wines and they always seem to get it just right. I can come in and say "I am making --- for dinner" and they will suggest a good number of things to go with it. Some evening they do tastings. Big domestic beer selection, not the biggest international beer selection but they have the greatest hits. It is where I buy alcohol.

The manager was a total ***hole. Walked in there at 5:58 not knowing theyd close at 6:00 and he got so mad and snappy with me said I have to hurry up in such a disrespectful tone. Was in there for a total of 30 seconds and he yelled at me from acrossed the store telling me to leave. Like wth man. I dont expect to be treated like ass as soon as I walk into any establishment. I understand that if a place is closing, its closing, but you dont gotta be totally disrepectful. Will not be shopping here again.

Not only does France 44 have an excellent craft beer selection, but they have a knowledgeable and helpful staff as well. Ive worked with several people here and am particularly impressed with Corey Ryan, who really goes above and beyond on a regular basis to assist his customers and ensure their satisfaction. You wont get this kind of service at Total Wine & Beverage. Just a fantastic little family-owned business that really gets everything right.

France 44 is one of my haunts for the latest and greatest beers in town. They get all of the limited releases, and they dont make you pay an arm and a leg for them. They have a make your own 6 pack section that rotates out pretty often. I can still usually find 6 different beers I havent had on most stops in. Plus its a set price for them. Nice! They have liquor and wine and all the stuff, but Im only here for the beer.

Customer service is the new "it" for anyone spending hard earned money on anything. Combined with the knowledge of product and follow through by the staff France 44 brings just that to every transaction I have had with them. Although it is a distance away they are able to use shippers and the careful treatment of every item is top shelf. Treat yourself to good eats and beverages and join up with France 44!

It a one-stop shop for all your beverage needs. Also, its definitely moderately priced. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else if they have what I desire in stock (and they inevitably do). Also, all their beer is kept cold to boot! Just an awesome place (and check out the downstairs and cigar humidor while youre there)!

Brightly lit, well organized, very clean. This place carries many varieties of spirits from everyday items and uncommon international fair to trendy craft creations to classics. Its not a discount store, but prices are reasonable. There is also a tasting bar with many options to discover something new.

Very good liquor store! Good (not great) selection of different liquors. They do have some good rare finds and high end bottles. Great staff here is always willing to help. This store features an extensive sampling station, which can help save you from purchasing a bottle you dont really like

They have a really great selection of wine, beer, and cider. They have a lot of stuff that other places dont have. Its always neat to try something new. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I couldnt find what I was looking for so they made a recommendation on something else to try.

Great prices and super fast service for a mail order. The bottles were packed safely and appropriately in bottle specific packaging. Great communication from the store letting me know when they were shipped, and they shipped next business day (I ordered at night after the store closed).

Online purchase of a stout not found locally in Oregon. Website and Android App are very easy to navigate. Good price, reasonable delivery charge, and fast delivery! Contacting the store directly is also very easy. Great selection of craft beers! I will be shopping with them again.

France 44 gave us excellent customer service! They followed up with a question about our order, and when they knew it was a birthday present, they enclosed a birthday card for the recipient. These days, I dont count on any customer service, but France 44 broke the mold!
