Been a TS habituate way too long....and the VV (Value Village)s in the DC area were never my favorite places....prices were too high, but at the same time as the small, and real charity shops have disappeared the local 2 VVs have gone through huge change...they:ve brightened up their act with whole new approach to staffing, .....reduced and/or leveled off their pricing.....and actually are promoting customer donations in very user friendly ways (Im not sure if they still use canvas phone soliciting, which had a mixed reputation) They are using a bunch of discount days for seniors...customer appreciation days...whole store 1/2off days...etc.....plus the new staffing is mostly very young, mixed race and gender who have clearly been hyped to be friendly and outgoing....its now a fun place that gives me that real boost and incentive to always have a couple of bags of goodies to pass on. I consider it a major victory when I can leave with ALOT LESS than I dropped off!!!!

Across from Andrews Air Force Base and near a large church. There is someone to manage parking on Sundays. Great bargains and discounts depending on the days. Senior and VIP days are a hit.

Neat, nice atmosphere. Some of the prices are good some are outrageous. I found a beautiful pink short for a steal. If you search well you will definitely find good stuff at amazing prices.
