Chibbi Venus

Spent well over $20 in books at Goodwill. Found out I bought a few extras and decided to try this place out to see if I could get some cash for them instead of returning them for store credit. These books had stickers on them. I was offered $4 cash for them when I could have returned them for $20 store credit. I declined. I found out that every sticker was removed. I cant return them now and no where on 2nd and Charless site does it state that stickers will be removed regardless if the customer accepts or denies their offer. This place is a pawn shop for geeks. I steer clear selling to pawn shops because of sneaky practices like this. Please if you have stickers on your items and you plan on possibly returning them to the original store, ASK to leave the stickers. They wont tell you otherwise.

I suggest this not only as a replacement source for PreK-12 School Libraries, but a great spot for personal choices too. Yesterday was my first time shopping there and I know my cart was loaded down w/$200 worth of replaceable titles that are well used, such as: Speak, Inkheart (the whole series), and Beautiful Creatures series. I had to put EVERYTHING back when I discovered the best collection of How-to-Draw Books in the whole wide world, because...what K-12 library has an over abundance of 741s thru 743s? So I sat down in a comfy chair and went through all the Manga books (body images for female stuff) and selected HTD titles appropriate in that area as well as in the areas of realistic portraiture, animals, cars, marvel comics, and horror creatures.

Went in here because I love everything about its concept but wasnt truly blown away. The layout is cool and theres a ton of stuff to look through; you could spend hours in the store. The books were a little tough to navigate, the signage on the sides of the shelves helped a bit. I was looking through cds, found a couple I would have purchased, but when I opened the cases to check the disc, I found them all to be horrendously scratched like someone used them as skates on concrete. The vinyl was so packed full that I couldnt physically look through it. The girl at the register had no customer service skills. They also try to sign you up for a "free magazine trial" that will bill your card if you dont cancel.

I had a great experience there. The customer service was wonderful. Whenever I had a question it was answered nicely. The store is roomie with tons of things I love. I didnt look through cds and movies bc I wasnt there for that but I found some awesome books, posters, and Funko Pops. I did have a little difficulty going through the comics but that didnt bother me. I would definitely recommend it.

Stopped in here since I have seen it a few times. It is HUGE! So many aisles and bins. I didnt even break the surface. Dvds, Blu-rays, books, novelty items like Funko Pops and Pillows. They even have textbooks and instruments. Looks like the buy your items as well, but looking at the prices they sell for you arent going to get rich. Would recommend checking this place out!

Great experience as usual at this chain. Smaller than Richmond locations but still nice. People with lower reviews due to their expected payout on sellbacks of books are silly. You cant expect retail when theyre offering you wholesale prices so they can resell. Great used vinyl and used book sections. CDs and dvds for a song and nice new selections as well.

Great store with a huge inventory of various types of items (books, music, movies, instruments). Store seems like if Best Buy and Goodwill had a baby. Prices are OK, not a steal by any means but you will definitely save some money over buying at retail price. Had a great experience shopping here.

My first time at this place I went crazy. The amount of books (and pricing) blew me away to bibliophile paradise! The selection in some sections may be a bit older because of the trade-in service, but many gems can be found. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning soon!

Great selection, some obscure stuff which is great. I was honestly surprised. If youre nerdy or enjoy books, movies, music or video games I highly recommend checking this place out. Prices vary, some great deals and some standard, nothing over priced that I saw.

Great prices and decent selection. Staff dont know anything about the books except the anime and manga section. Only person who was helpful was a young girl named Kenya, who gave me some wonderful recommendations on scifi. Give that girl a raise!
