As an elementary public school teacher and mother of 4, I was shocked to see the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit (I think they were wearing them!) Edition displayed at a 3 foot high level right beside the check out counter. It was like they were planning for little kids to stare at it. When I told the clerk, she agreed with me that it was poor placement and called the manager for me. He said," I cant do anything about it, corporate told me to put it there." I dont think he was a manager, he was just a puppet! So, for all the childrens books they sell, they have no respect for children and their innocence. Im done with this store.

Tonight while reading and sitting in a chair by the books in the back of the store, (the chair was there already) a sales person told me to get up, move the chair to a corner so that people could look at this display of books, if in fact, some one actually did come back there. I am a tiny person and only took up the small area of the chair itself. I also am a 63 year old woman who has been a card member of Barnes and Noble for all my adult life, so why should I be asked to move when I was reading right there?? Think about that: is the customer important or is the money important??

Good store, employees helpful but the issue I have is I stopped in to purchase a Galaxy S2 Nook. Not cheap. I was told they were out of stock. They would put one on hold for me when they come in. I could get one at another store that was 1 hour away from my home. Already traveled almost 1 hour to this location. A week later I call to see if they have any Idea when they will be in and was told they have no idea, they arent even on order yet! Very dissapointed.

Only place in Lancaster county that isnt a bar, diner, or Wal-mart that is open after 9pm. Used to come here all the time at night when I was under 21 and me and my friends would get coffee and just hang out. They never kicked us out or rushed us along, we just chilled, checked out books and games and what not, and had a good time. Always great stuff to buy, too, and I definitely recommend getting a membership. Its well worth the $25 a year.

I absolutely love this store. Last time I was there they had story time for the kids. They must have any and every book under the sun and if they dont they will order it for you. They even have a lounge spot. You can order coffee, tea, etc. I dont know what Lind of food they have but I do know they have some stuff to eat. If you love to read or like me, buy books because there pretty, this is the hot spot!

This place is wonderful, they have a large helpful staff and the a great cafe full of well trained and eager workers. Every time I go in, I receive a warm smile and even great suggestions when Im not sure what I want. The only problem with going here can be some of the other customers, who seem to be way too hard to please. I am very impressed with this location and I just keep going back!

Great snacks and teas and coffees!! young people go here to meet and older people go to visit and be social too! there is a wonderful selection of music and reading material and so many to pick from. great sales and clearances that will make you happy to be there!! very pleasant staff!! clean and safe place to be any time of the year!!

I go there all the time to buy my books. They have a big selection on any category you are looking for. If you can not find anything, the staff is very helpful. The place is clean and you can sit down and read for hours if you want. The pries are excellent for a book store. They even have a nice Starbucks there for people for like coffee.

The store is amazing... the staff is wonderful... with one exception.. Their store manager has no clue. You need to be fired. by cashing your paycheck you are stealing from the company because god knows you didnt nothing to earn it. In fact you do such a horrible job ... you probably owe the company money. Wake up and fire this clown!!

A decent bookstore, although I prefer the smaller, locally owned bookstores. They have a good variety including s good childrens section. The atmosphere here is good and the place is comfortable. Theres always people sitting around reading. They also have a Starbucks, which while pricey, is almost always good.

Love coming here with a friend and just roaming around. The employees are very nice and try their best to make sure everyone is okay. They even have a Starbucks inside where you can sit and read a book while you drink Starbucks- definitely one of my favourite places to go and hang out.

Very rude. Inconsiderate and racist. They have tables off to the side of the store, and one of the managers decide to conduct a very loud and long interview right behind me. Continuously bumps my chair, and is just rude. Will not be returning to this location.

This location has always had friendly and helpful staff. They will order books if they dont have them at the store and the cafe is pretty good. There arent many bookstores left, but this B&N is, barring independent sellers, the best youll get in Lancaster.

Had a problem with my Nook turning on. The gentleman named Dana took his time trying to solve the problem. He ended up exchanging it for new one. He was extremely friendly and helpful. Amazing customer service

Really wish they would bring back the new book sections. So much easier to find new books by people you like. Instead you have to go to each author and see if there is something new there.

I have never seen such rich selection of science fiction books. Unbelievably I found 5 books from 2011 and 2010 I did not have. Well now I do. Great place. I recommend it to everyone.

You dont always find the book youre looking for, but youll more than likely find something really similar if not better. If you cant find it in store, youre likely to find it online.

Good selection of books. The coffee shop is also good, but its always really filled and cramped. I like the people who work there because they are often helpful and friendly.

Wonderful bookstore (like the one in Camp Hill PA) and yet, I wonder---why did both these stores take away the comfy reading chairs in their stores? Please bring those back!

A tad bit pricey, but the selection of books and records is the best youll find in Lancaster. The cafe is also a nice place to relax and have a bite to eat.

Love B&N love to spend hours in there. Great book sales. Must stop at the coffee shop for a cup of coffee or tea and relax. Service is great.
