The store is usually beautifully arranged and stocked with what is probably the best overall selection of new age paraphernalia in the region. There are high quality books about every topic from astrology to angels to tarot to earth magic, candles, card decks of all kinds, clothing, crystals, drums, incense, jewelry, statuary and figurines, and so on. They have an experienced staff that have been together for years at, I believe, three different locations, provide an array of services, and serve as a kind of hub for classes, gatherings, and activities among new age practioners and laypersons in the small city hinterlands of Baltimore and Philadelphia. Definitely not a storefront psychic con artist type place, in other words. People almost always give them unequivocally fabulous reviews, and thats what seems to be appreciated and perhaps expected. Despite the slightly exclusionary new age spiritual vibe - or are they just very proud of their business? - that might cause some to feel unwelcome or uncomfortable on occasion, in my opinion, New Visions is an excellent resource for both products and programs that push people to grow in positive ways and may encourage them to develop regional networks of friends and collegues among similarly directed individuals.

A truly amazing and welcoming center. The owners care about every shopper and has the best assortment of books and metaphysical gifts. Also, its so much more then a store, its a community center for like minded individuals to meet, as well as an educational center hosting great speakers & topics to expand your mind and spirituality. BEAUTIFUL store! One of the best metaphysical stores in the PA-MD-VA area. Tons of great merchandise - something for everyone! I cant say enough about the quality of products they carry! I rated a 4 instead of a 5 because one of the owners is an awfully gruff personality and is a bit standoff-ish. Otherwise, this store is an A+.

Will not venture into this store again. Overheard rude owner talking about other customers. Is this really a spiritual store when people working here are so catty? The owner looks like he smokes weed in the store and it smells like it too.

I enjoy a few of their products but have never received a warm welcome. The atmosphere is somewhat cold and people of color dont receive the same personal service as others.
