I was just driving by and stopped at some vintage stores beside the store. I ask if any good eatting places around. The farmhouse vintage said the Etchison Country Store made good sandwiches. So I stopped there very friendly service from a lady at counter. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich with lettuce and tomato mayo. It was the best chicken salad sandwich Ive ever had. I had to go back another weekend and get another one of those. I ask the lady at counter who makes the chicken salad I said I would like to shake his hand. He is a great cook. I talk to several people who come in often and they said this place always has great food. I was never disappointed I eat there alot now. Grear place to stop and grab a good bite to eat anytime. I live this place.

I dropped in to get an Italian sub for myself and niece. I have lived in this area since 1973 and never been here so I thought I would give it a try. The sub was great! The short woman behind the counter is wonderful and very accommodating. I sat outside on the porch and watched the traffic go by which was entertaining. I cant wait to go back and try some other items on their menu---and sit and eat on the porch. If you havent been here you should give it a try.

Good little country convenience store. Good beer selection, wine ok. Snacks and a great grill. Last place to get beer/wine before getting to dry Damascus. Staff is simply wonderful.
