Weve purchased wine, gift baskets as well as taken classes. The staff at The Wine Country KNOW their stuff. You cant go to a BevMo or Total Wine and get the knowledge as well as the special wines they carry. Ive never been steered to anything outside my budget either. Ive let them know what I like, what I want to pay and they have always suggested something spectacular. Take a class or two- you will learn alot from someone who has been to the wineries, knows the winemakers and the regions. Its alot of fun, just wish I lived closer.

Damn! I used to completely trust the advice of the employees that work here. They have sent me in the direction of several great bottles of wine. Unfortunately the quality of the help has really diminished, at least with one of their clerks. She just tried to sell me a case of decent Red Italian Wine that was actually White Wine. WTF. Im not that sophisticated in wine, its why I need decent help. I do know the difference between white and red however. Bump your game back up, folks.

The Wine Country has a massive selection of Wine and Craft beer with wine tastings on Thursdays. Super friendly staff and a huge refrigerated cooler with a wonderful constantly updated craft beer selection so its ready to enjoy when you are.

This is a great place to find hard to find wines. Every now and then, I enjoy Greek Retsina and the Wine Country actually has a couple different varieties. Their wine tastings are wonderful, too.

Wine Country has the best wine selection in Long Beach. Skip the chain stores and shop here. Youd have to go to Costa Mesa to find a better place.
