Pricey wines by the glass, pricey snackable items, uncomfortable metal stools, small portions, unexciting food. Four of us met before dinner and ended up dropping $150 on just wine and snacks. We bought a bottle of Zinfandel for $30 and opened it there with a $15 corkage. The wine was decent. Avocado toast was very much like something you might whip up at home- I would have let the avocado ripen more.

Yummy food, good Santa Monica music (played softly), small walking-city-size tables, friendly staff, terrific service, atmos is basically an anti-testosterone wine bar (with purse hooks) featuring surprisingly tasty food. Sent here by a suit of high achievement. Perfect place. Just perfect.
