Ive been wanting a tattoo for a long time and I finally bit the bullet a year ago. I looked at several reviews, and Tuesday Tattoo stood out the most. I visited the shop a month prior and the staff were very friendly and did not put any pressure on me. I really liked Hannah Wednesdays art, so I made an appointment to see her. I wanted a tattoo of the sun thats on the Philippine flag and incorporate the red star from the California flag. I doodled here and there, but I couldnt really visualize what I wanted. Plus, my roommates boyfriend scared me into thinking the red star could be mistaken for something political..... But what Hannah came up with eased my fears. I really liked how she incorporated the two together, and once it heals, Ill post a picture. Hannah was also really accommodating to both my roommates who came for emotional support as this was my first tattoo. She brought out chairs, and I just meditated through the pain. She even apologized for not being talkative as my tattoo took concentration. When it was almost finished, my roommates asked how I was doing and I told them that I was starting to shake. Hannah and Candi got me a juice box to help with my blood sugar. If you really want a tattoo, I highly suggest checking this place out. Everyone is really nice and can lend an artistic hand if youre like me and cant envision what exactly it is you want. And the deposit is $100 which goes towards your tattoo.

My family and I have been going to Jesse since he was working in Oakland. Together we carry more than a dozen tattoos by him, and they are all flawless examples of the craft. Jesse has never rushed the work, always giving each piece, and person, the attention they deserve, usually showing more concern for the finished product than the client. As long as Jesse is able and willing to ink nobody else get a chance at my available canvas.

I had a couple friends who went to Jesse and I loved the work he did on them. So when I was in town I got mine done by him and live the tattoo! I ferry compliments on it all the time. Anytime Im in San Fran I want to get things done by him.

I went to Sam of Tuesday Tattoo last Sunday and got what EVERYONE tells me is the most amazing and perfectly rendered tattoo of Max from the childrens book "Where the Wild Things Are." I could not be happier with my experience.
