What a wonderful bookstore! Ive been a patron for several years now, and Ive always been warmly welcomed. I think I mustve napped several weeks of my life away on their couch, sometimes, if Im lucky, with a kitty or two. Jude and Carrie always have interesting recommendations to help me wade through the truly splendid collection, and have introduced me to many authors Id never heard of before. Theres also a broad selection of friendly local geeks passing through, usually pleased to share book recommendations of their own. Theyre also part of a tight-knit community of other sci-fi related goodness. Stop by to pick up a copy of the CA in CA newsletter, with a listing of all kinds of author readings, and a monthly movie night. My consistent experience has been of kindness, welcome, and really, really good books.

Visiting from out of town so thought I would stop in to see whats it like. The place is very clean smell like fresh paint. The theater has home theater seating 2 rows with a long sofa on the back wall. This looks as if it belongs I someone home. Looks like a nice place to take your lady friend for a night of enjoyment.

I stopped in on recommendation from a friend. I was impressed with the breadth of their selection, they had all the DVDs I was looking for and I picked up a couple more specials. The people behind the counter were very helpful also. Highly recommend!!

Can I take my wife here and watch a movie with other like minded people on the big screen? Or is it just private room movies only?

Had a great night with my wife in the Big theater. Made lots of new friends and we stayed all night. Sharing is fun
