I used PowerON as a customer via the Apple website. The shipping could not be more simple. I simply took my computer to FedEX and they handled everything - just like they said in the email quote. I shipped my laptop on Feb 9 and received an email notification that they had received it on March 1 (14 business days). Once they had received the item, the audit was completed in 2 business days. I accepted the adjusted quote and within a few hours they were processing my gift card - I was told this usually takes between 24 and 48 hours and is sent electronically. The only downfall was not knowing how long it would take for this whole process, with no clear indication on their website either. The quote provided was very reasonable, and the reasons for adjusting the quote were common sense (faults with the laptop I had forgotten about).

Customer service is pretty helpful but very vague. The amount quoted to me was good. However I am VERY irritated that my gift card has NOT been sent to me after a week when they said it would. Overall, a very tedious experience having to contact customer service many times. Very time consuming and still havent received my gift card. Im not sure if it will come or if Ill get my laptop back. Next time Ill just go to a local computer store and sell it there.

They sell junk, pure and simple. Reviews are written for a reason and the public has a right to know the truth. They can try to hush it up, but those of us who bought non-functional, broken computers from them, including laptops with dead pixels which were rated Grade A, know much better. Avoid this incompetent company and buy your computers from the Apple store or a more reliable source. PowerOn Computers sells junk.

You can obviously tell that all the other reviews are from one person using multiple names. Thats even funnier how this guy likes to slander the company. PowerOn Services is ranked #1 in computer hardware in Inc 500 magazine. Sorry VIP, you lose credibility and obviously have no life when you make a dozen different accounts just to leave bad feedback due to your bitter emotions.

I got a great deal on an iMac from Power On. It was an eBay sale and I didnt even realize they were local until I made payment. They let me pick the product up in person and it was exactly as described and well packaged.
