Handsome, comfortable coffee cafe. Service is as quick as possible, considering the menu of made-to-order lattes, cappuccinos, and tea. Several sandwiches, salads, and soups are available as well. Very friendly employees. There is some seating outdoors during the warmer months, and there are a surprising number of seats inside the small building. Lots of northwoods paneling and decor. There is a single bathroom available. When I visit St. Germain for the week, I find myself stopping in several times.

This place could be a gold mine! I love the coffee. Its a clean, cute shop but I was immediately turned off by the blonde haired lady working there. Im really hoping shes not the owner. Very rude. Very short. No thank you. Felt rushed ordering. When I visit, I will find another coffee shop.....this didnt happen just once,but twice. Thought I would give it a second chance as i thought she was having a bad day..but 2nd time was the same.

The Medical Mystery

HAD another WONDERFUL experience at Red Canoe!! Served by the most smiling young lady I have ever met! Her name was Jordy and as busy as she was working alone, she never stopped smiling and was extremely friendly. I JUST started drinking coffee and asked for opinion on what to try, she made me a Carmel Macchiato and it was soooooo good!! Well worth the 11 mile drive!

Great coffee and food. Staff needs to cheer up. Makes me uncomfortable to have to try to make a person smile or act friendly especially when paying coffee shop prices. If I want the cold shoulder I can go to McDs and pay $1!

Good food and cappuccino, inside decor was cute. Was there twice, service was a little slow the first time but the food was good so I went back. Was much faster the second time. Outside pourch/patio was nice also.

Very good food & coffee. Many books & art decor about the North Woods & various topics. A variety of wine as well, though I didnt try any, they have wine tasting on Fridays.

Great selection and staff. As a Milwaukee resident, Im not a huge fan of their coffee--its a little too weak for my taste. But its the best youre going to get up here.
