I have visited Petsmart in Oak Creek a total of two time and have both times been very disappointed. I went my first time out of sheer curiosity because I have lived in Oak Creek all of my life and find anything new to be exciting. I was far from excited upon walking through the doors of this establishment. The staff are not involved with the customers at all. I went to see their selection of fish and stood in front of the tank of the fish that I planned to buy for a a while, having been walked past multiple times and never being asked if I needed help. I finally had to hunt down someone to catch a fish for me. Upon my second visit, I was going to buy crickets for my fat-tailed leopard gecko. 12 small/medium crickets last him 2-3 days. They had boxes of 30 for sale, but those would probably die before he had the chance to eat them. An employee ACTUALLY asked me if I needed help upon this visit and she was very pleasant. I asked her for a bag of 12 SMALL crickets. The woman proceeded to fill a bag with the quantity of crickets that I had requested and I didnt notice until AFTER she had closed the lid that she had given me LARGE crickets. I didnt say anything because that is a benefit on my part and a loss on theirs (she had written small crickets on the bag, so I was charged for small crickets)! When I got home, I sprinkled them with calcium dust and then dumped them into the cage to find that 2 of the 12 were already dead. My gecko does not eat the crickets corpses. I decided not to go back for more because these were large crickets and he is used to small, so I was hoping that they would last longer. The next morning, I find five more of them dead and the rest eaten by my gecko. Very disappointed by the products and selection and plan on never returning.

The first time I took my dog for a bath and nail trim (a vizsla with short hair and basically no required drying time) he was there for 5 hours, with no phone call to me. Finally I called to check on the status of my dog, they said, oh yea, someone was supposed to call you. We thought someone did, your dog is ready. So 5 hours later I pick up my dog, and bring him home and he had no services done. His nails werent trimmed, and he clearly had no bath. I called back, they apologized and told me to bring him in again at a later date and they would do the services for free. (That I already paid for) Fast forward to the next time I skeptically tried to take my dog there again. He was shaking when I brought him in the grooming salon, the attendant mentioned him shaking, I said yes, hes a skittish dog, weve HAD him on Chinese herbs in the past. (Didnt work so we took him off them.) She said I cant take him today then....I was confused....she said you just said he was on medication and we cant see him. There went a back and forth from there, the manager came in (and did nothing) basically they accused me of being a liar and saying my dog was on the medicine when hes not. (I also offered for his vet to be called to verify he was no longer on the herbs, and they denied being able to do that as well) HORRIBLE SERVICE. Ill NEVER be back to say the least, and would strongly advise anyone to take their dog ANYWHERE ELSE. It wouldnt be hard to find a grooming service thats more professional, accommodating, and that actually does their job, than this establishment.

I have taken my dog (standard goldendoodle) here to be groomed once before and I wasnt thrilled with the cut because we wanted it short..we knew hed look odd. But I gave specific details on what I wanted and he did not return to me in the way I was hoping. I dont like to cause a fuss because I didnt want to judge someones work. I took him again hoping that the groomer would understand what I wanted. I asked for a teddy bear face.. and to cut the ears shorter. (Previous time the ears werent cut.. the insides were left long where it NEEDS to be cut to prevent ear infections) His ear were not cleaned again, his head is cut short and not anything near to a teddy face and his tail was barely touched... Also after being left there for 5hours I called asking if he was done-- he was not but I could start heading over. I took him home because again I was just too upset to say anything to anyone.. I was then able to check his ears and they were not cut again and they were long inside and out. I am very upset because I love petsmart. We called and they said I can bring him back in two days, which to me is unacceptable. He should be able to come back right away since its a touch up of what was supposed to be done in the first place. His ears were left oily like when I took him... as if they were not cleaned out at all. He doesnt even smell like he was given a bath. I will no longer be taking him to get groomed here. Which is sad because hes been going here for puppy school since he was 10 weeks. Bummer.

This has been our go-to pet store in the southern Milwaukee area for a year now. We bought a fish tank set from here, as well as eventually all of the fish to go in it and the cleaning supplies, decorations, and more. Staff has usually been nice, though one lady working evening shifts seems to never enjoy company after dinner hours. Never had issues returning fish and getting new ones. Nice, clean place.

Superior customer service! Walking in and knowing youre going to get the help you need or the answers you have answered correctly is a huge stress relief. Entire staff is super friendly and willing to assist you in any way to make sure your visit has been a success

I would say this place is cheaper than Petco on most items. They have a lot more animals to choose from if youre looking to buy and a lot more varieties of food for your pet they also have really good customer service.

We used to live right by this Petsmart. Its a clean, well laid-out store. Staff are friendly. When we popped in to have our puppys nails filed, they got her in right away and were great with her!

Nice new store. Had great free cat samples I was able to take. Carried the dog food brand we like at the same price I find other places. Staff was friendly, store was clean.
