I had a problem; something was caught in the trunk lid latch, 0730 on a very wet dark morning. A hatch lid that wouldnt close or open, I had crawled back there and tried to find the emergency release, there is not one. One of their service personnel came out in the pouring rain, he tried to release nylon strap from lock, this involved sitting in a cramped crushed uncomfortable position for about 15, 20 minutes. This failed eventually he managed to open trunk lid by pressing just right on outside of hatch as I pressed unlock button on key. All in all it was a bugger of a job, difficult frustrating and very uncomfortable. At the end of all this time, he returned to his real job at the service counter, I think his name badge said Doug? He didnt charge me anything, wouldnt let me pay anything. In this modern era it is very rare to find a company that is so genuinely helpful, non-self-serving. Too often we customers have bad car repair stories where we got ripped off and over charged; I was undercharged and looked after. I cant recommend Dave Marstons Service center more highly. I will certainly be using them in the future. Thank you for your help. I was very impressed! I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.

Discriminatory business practice=Dave Marston Jeep/Dodge/Ford in Minocqua, WI - I was in town to visit my family in Minocqua Wisconsin, and happened to stop by the dealership for a test drive as I have been looking at many vehicles in AWD/4WD. A dealership salesman took my license, only to return with it less than 5 minutes later. Upon returning, he asked, "are you going to buy a vehicle from us today?" I replied, "no", Im just shopping and looking at vehicles. He then replied, "because my manager said, we dont give out free test-drives". I explained that I am a director at a local clinic, making more than enough money to afford the vehicles that I wanted to test drive (Grand Cherokee Laredo and Jeep Wrangler). This was a picture-perfect discriminatory experience, whereby I left feeling frustrated. I am definitely not buying a vehicle from Dave Marston Motors in Minocqua, WI, not should you. If you wouldnt purchase a mattress without laying on it, why would you purchase a vehicle without a test-drive. I have done much research and comparisons to this point, and now unwilling to support the business of Dave Marston Motors as a result of this interaction.

Brought my jeep in for an oil change and shocks. Ive always been happy with the service department at Dave Marston. the shop is clean, people are friendly and they do quality work. No issues. I also, while waiting for my Jeep, I test drove some new ones. Luke Bonga was very helpful and friendly. He truely listened to what I liked and was looking for in a new vehicle. Though they did not have one on the lot with the options I wanted, he tried to locate one for me and responded within a few days. Although I found and bought a vehicle elsewhere, I thank Luke for his excellent customer service.

Bought a used van from these guys, 1 year old, 30k miles. On the way home we figured out the heater doesnt work, only to call the dealer and have them tells us they knew about it but didnt have time to fix! They advised us to take it to another dealer as it is still under factory warranty to get it fixed. Anything to sell a vehicle, after that you are in your own!

Worst dealership that I have ever delt with. Service manager has no people skills, he gives you the impression that you dont have a choice. Well, after they evaluated my problem I found all personal items that were under the front seats laying on the floor. I chose to drive an extra hour to another dealership for the repair.
