My husband and I love to shop there for movies and occasionally a game or two but we are from the Wisconsin Dells area so its a little bit of a drive. We have never had any problems there before. Good customer service and great prices, best you can find around! However we shopped there last week to buy a game for a ps3 and when we got home, we started to play our new game (pre-played). About an hour into it the game froze and we couldnt get it out of the ps3. We finallly got it out and re realized there was a huge crack in it! Luckily we still had our receipt and it had a 7 day return policy. We returned the game 4 days later. The cashier assured us that she did not have to do the refund for us (even though the reciept says 7 day return policy with a restocking fee) and she would let us do a store credit for the amount. Well we didnt see anything we wanted and weve drove and hour back to the store and we wanted our money back. When my husband asked her to go over the return policy with him she said "yes it is a 7 day return policy but you were careless with the disc and thats why it broke," but then she turned around and said "his ps3 broke the disc because my manager would have never sold you a disc in that kind of condition." ABSOLUTELY OUT OF LINE AND TOTALLY RUDE!!! I finally butt-into the conversation and said "how can you say that? this has never happened to us before, his ps3 has never broken a disc." She says "fine! ill just return your cash and you can just be on your way" As she SLAMS the cash and the change on the counter and rudely turns her back to us and reads her book. My husbands calls back that night because we wanted to speak to the manager about how rude his employee was to us, turns out SHE WAS THE MANAGER!! WTF! Looks like theyve lost another couple customers! We drive quiet a ways to shop there because there prices are the best around but its alot in gas for us, not the mention salting the wound with such a bitchy manager. Word to the wise, if you are going to shop there stay away from the tall skinny check-out girl with sandy blonde hair, unless you wanna get bitched out.

i never buy anything but games, not because they are bad, rather I like games more. In terms of games, really depends on the games for the price. Pokemon red is like 30 dollars, but seems relatively average. Games like tetris, smb land, and Pokemon trading card game is cheaper than ebay. Also, staff are okay, when I am calling about something, they dont seem like they really care. Its only when I ask to get a game in person that they lighten up. My mom says they used to be good with returns, but her experience was from 2006 preplayed, and I havent returned anything recently so... 3ds games seem priced good. NES with all cables needed and 1 controller is 70. I cant say for sure if its good or not. Seems okay. Idk for sure though. Dont get the straight up Pokemon games like red blue, leaf green, emerald, platinum, ect. They are overpriced most Id the tike, red seemed okay price wise. Also, dont sell to them. Nothing against them. In general game stores like them give terrible prices for games because they need to sell them. I remember being able to test gba games on my gba, but after like 2 or 3, they seem to be a bit impacient and want me to buy a game tommorow. Once again the testing thing was in 2006 ish. Overall average. Also, n64 controller is the same in Amazon, but you can get the game that day. Helps that I live like 5 minutes away so I dont mind going there often. They really should try to work on customer service, many reviews are bad because if bad customer service

This store has an excellent stock of classic and current games everything is so affordable in the store that you can walk in with minimal money and seem to afford something it is so much better than Game Stop because the customer service there is amazing.You can walk up to the people at the counter and say "hey i was wondering if you have any good recommendations for games?" and theyll give you one that pertains to the system you have and believe me they have excellent taste in modern and retro gaming. They also have a very wide selection of CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray Discs. Everything you buy in the store has a seven day money back guarantee, which you probably never will have to use because they clean the product you have right when you buy it as apposed to Game Stop which has monthly cleaning sessions. You can tell that the people in this store really enjoy their job and will go out of their way to help you. I wouldnt trust anywhere else to buy my games. Heres a shopping tip for you In the back of the store theres a shelf of Ps2 Games, Gamecube Games, XBOX Games, XBOX 360 Games, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs. Now for some reason i dont know why theyre all irrevocably cheap, at first i was sceptical of them but after buying some they all work perfectly. Ive found that the PS2 games has the widest selection on that shelf. I hope you make the decision to shop at this Pre-Played location the next time you need a new video game.

When I got into the Xbox 360, this was a great place to try some titles out for less than the original price. As time went on I learned that often, several months after a game is released, the price will drop substantially. Thus I found that Preplayed prices are rather high for used games. They do, however, have a wide selection of Playstation 2, Wii, Gamecube, and other games. I have found the games they sell, are of high quality, and when I did have to return something, they took it back with no problem (you only have 7 days to return). They also have a huge selection of used DVDs and Blu Ray and CDs. The store is large and clean, and everything is well organized, its just a bit pricey. I figure most people would be buying used for the price, so on that its 3 to 2 stars; everything else 4 to 5 stars.

The prices on some of their items are just outrageous especially for being USED items! Then most of the games dont even have the original artwork covers in the cases, so it affects resell value with them as well!? They charge for returning defective items or items you werent satisfied with as well. The staff wont give you as much as other places for some items, but they do also have a stricter policy on what they do take. Staff isnt very friendly either and often give off a mean vibe. Ive felt like they didnt want to answer basic questions or they were irate for some reason. Overall, they offer some overstock items at a discounted price and tend to sit on some of their items for a very long time. The music section seems untouched. I think they will be the next blockbuster... Hope not, but time will tell!

Ive been here quite a bit and always have had a good time, but this time specifically i didnt even need to set foot in the store. I was that annoying customer that called the store and had about 5 questions that needed detailed answers. The employee I talked to (unfortunately forgot to get his name) was able to answer all my questions with a a shocking combination of quick and informative answers while never sounding annoyed. He made me feel like I had his full attention and was a valued customer. This place has great selection of games, movies, tv shows, and MUCH more. Also if youve never been here and have been searching for that place that has all your childhood memory games and gaming systems? This is definitely it.
