I loved this place! It was the only place in town that I could bring my toddler and enjoy coffee, thanks to all of the outdoor kids stuff. We stopped in today and he happily ran over to the area and looked up at me in disappointment. "Toys all gone?" Ive been frustrated the last couple weeks when I would stop in before work, but this was the last straw. I doubt Im the only parent who is disappointed that our only caffeinated refuge has been sterilized and made child unfriendly.

this is a great coffe shop. A lot of locals and students, working and surfing on the net. Large selection of coffees and treats. The very best thing about the place is the BACK YARD, or thats what it feels like. They have tables overlooking the Bike path and neibhorhood garden plots. the bike path makes for great people watching, if you sit there long enough the whole world will walk/ride past.

I arrived about an hour before Friday night closing, and the cold night made the brisket dinner look like a great idea. The brisket was tasty and tender, with the rich caramelized flavor you want. It could have been a little hotter, but I gobbled it up anyway. The shredded Brussels sprout side was really nice.

This place is a must-go for families with smaller kids. Their backyard area is fully stocked with toys, play equipment and little free libraries that usually have kids books. Its great atmosphere where kids will be occupied so parents can chat with each other or just enjoy the freedom of sipping coffee alone.

Dont be deceived by the signage - this is no longer the charming local cafe it once was. Espresso Royale, an upper-midwest chain, took it over a few years ago. Its not bad, and the back patio is as pleasant as ever, but it remains Cafe Zoma in name only.

Atmosphere is great here. Love that I can come and work on my laptop. Coffee is good as well. As far as specialty drinks, depends what Batista is working so its a hit or miss sometimes so I usually just stick with the regular coffee

Excellent coffee spot, especially in the summer: Probably the best outdoor seating of any coffee shop in Madison, in a nice, quiet courtyard facing the bike path. Pastries (including vegan options) are tasty, and their coffee is 3.5/5.

Cafe Zoma is now owned and operated by the same corporate chain as Espresso Royale Caffe, so if you like ERC, youll probably like Cafe Zoma. They have exactly the same selection of coffee drinks and pre-made sandwiches.

While its just another Espresso Royale, the coffee was still good, the staff polite and the room inviting. There are better coffee options in the Atwood area, but Cafe Zoma isnt bad.

A great place to read, talk and just hang. Coffee is good, as are the baked goods. Back yard is wonderful in the summer -- and conveniently located on the Capital City bike path.

Food heres great, coffee is steady and delicious...only issue is that they never seem to have enough baristas on staff, so service is pretty slow.

To be honest, I was expecting a so-so espresso. However, I was delightfully proven wrong. Great service, nice atmosphere, and solid wifi.

Pleasant community coffee shop, unpretentious and inexpensive. Good smoothies and a wise selection of alternatives to coffee.

This was listed as having vegan options. They had 3 vegeterian sandwiches. They grilled them and they were ok, and expensive

I liked Cafe Zoma – especially the patio out back – a lot, but unfortunately, they have closed up due to hard times.

Hi There
If you need a consistent internet connection, this is not the place for you. Other than that, it is a great place.
