I wish there was a way to give zero stars. I feel like such a dupe for getting my medusa done there. The shop overall is just kind of trashy and shady, more of a clothing store that oh, by the way does piercings and tattoos. But everyone I talked to was like, "Oh yeah, go to Karma, theyre the best!". The cheapest, sure. The best, hell no. The initial piercing was okay, the Russian(?) woman who pierced me was a little brusque but at least seemed to know what she was doing and got the jewelry in with one attempt. HOWEVER, immediately after it was done I thought it seemed tight and when I pointed it out and mentioned that with another lip piercing I needed a longer bar she totally brushed me off with "Youve got about 3 mm". Turns out that I needed the longer bar (DUH, I know my own body) after all and had to come back the next day to get it switched. The downsizing was an absolutely NIGHTMARE. The woman doing it honestly had no idea what she was doing. She yanked on my lip for ten minutes and couldnt find a ball to fit the bar so she temporarily capped it with a gem which I wound up liking well enough to get the hell out of there. She didnt make me pay for it, she was probably just glad I didnt demand to speak to her boss. Right now Im just praying it heals okay. If you are in Eau Claire and need a piercing, fork over the extra cash and go to Willow at Steel and Ink on Water St. Very clean, professional, and has excellent customer service.

Im disappointed. I got my Medusa pierced there and the girl who was doing the piercing seemed very inexperienced from the start. She was nice, but rushed and haphazard. Right away, the "dot" she placed was very asymmetrical. She would have pierced it that way if I hadnt pointed it out. The second dot, also very asymmetrical, had to point it out. Finally, the third dot was in the center. At this point I was already feeling nervous because she didnt seem very focused on making sure my symmetrical piercing was, symmetrical! Anyway, she pierced my Medusa diagonally into my lip and downward, so it couldnt heal fully, even after a month. Since the circular plate on the back of a labret was not able to lay flat ever, it was constantly digging into my lip on the side. Maybe some of the other piercers there would have done a better job. But I wouldnt risk it again. I went there to have the Medusa removed and the lady in charge seemed irritated about the whole situation. Made me feel uncomfortable. She offered to pierce it for free once it heals, but I dont know if its a good idea. Overall, I suppose you get what you pay for. The place was sanitary, but thats about all they had going for them from my experience.

I have gone here for ALL 10 of my piercings, both nipples, micro dermals, an inner ear, my tongue ect...I also bring/recommend ALL my friends to this place if I get my way! (have been to a good amount of other place as moral support, most are sub-par compared) Clean, friendly and casual!! I get very hyped and NERVOUS before a piercing, (when I got my Tattoo done else where, one guy thought Id freak out too much and wouldnt do it and the other kept tell me if I dont pass out itll be better and cheaper for all, Ive simmered down since then but still pretty fidgety) She had no worries or edginess to her about it nothing, BEST experience Ive had, Its a drive BUT all my friends have switched to her after going there once! O and I LOVE THE PRICE!! O and to the guy who is upset about his nipples, I rock a D cup (the bigger the cup the longer/harder it is for em to heal) and got hoops in at first and have no problem switching back and forth from bar bell to hoops, and with hoops flipping em up doesnt hurt .... (even with the hyper sensitive one)

The name says it all folks. Karma - what goes around, comes around. Or, you get what you deserve. This shop feeds off of people with little cash who dont know any better and want to believe that they are in capable hands. They couldnt be more wrong. And not only are they putting holes in people, now they are attempting to offer tattooing. Problem is the guy they have doing it got fired from one of the nastiest shops in town (he messed up my boyfriends tattoo BAD) for not being good enough for them!!! Do your research folks. There are MANY other options in the area. If not, drive to the cities. Crazy you say. I suppose, it is only a puncture wound or a permanent marking. Why put any time or effort in to doing it safely and professionally. Karma - you get what you deserve ; )

I went and got my tragus done because there was an ad that said it was only $15 by the end I spent $31. The ad said all after care was included and I had to pay for the solution. She wasnt very welcoming and seemed very unprofessional. When I went in she didnt even look at the placement before she pierced me and didnt give me a chance to look at the placement. Mine is now lower than what I wanted. After I was pierced she was very rough with putting the stud in and the cleaning process. I will not be getting another piercing here. I recently found out that the owner had called me very bad and inappropriate names to another one of my friends two days after. Very unprofessional and immature. Not pleased or impressed.

Loved it I got my lip piercing done 2-3years ago it healed properly and the chick was nice and professional! Then I brought my boyfriend to get his industrial done as a Christmas present and the young woman working there was really nice and professional and the industrial was properly done and its straight! I would recommend any one who wants a piercing to go to this place its at a good price and there professional at the same time cant get much better then that! Oh and I just got my Septum Pierced a few days ago as an early Valentines day gift from my BF and omg I love it once again 5/5 the ppl that say is one star is freaking stupid and was a dumbass about cleaning the piercing!

I suppose that if you dont know any better, dont care about quality, arent concerned about your own health, and want something for next to nothing that this is the place to go. Any time a place advertises as being the cheapest place in town should make you wonder, especially when it comes to any form of body modification. I recently went with my friend to have her nose pierced because she just had to have it done that day. I urged her to wait until a more experienced shop had an opening but she insisted. Lets just say that she has a really sore and red nose from the 20 minutes and 3 attempts it took to have it done ;0

Thanks to this place I learned that hard way that you do not want to find the cheapest place to get a piercing. I got my nipples done there and she put a captive bead in them so the hole healed curved. This means I cant put any straight barbel nipple piercings in I know Ive tried. They were also pierced at noticeably different depths. Also if they get flipped up accidentally they basically tear up my nipple (ill spare the details.) The lady also was not very polite. Ive been pierced at 3 different places and this is the only bad experience Ive ever had. Remember you get what you pay for.
