I want to like Home Depot more than I actually do. I love hardware stores - and Home Depot has a TON of options. Theyve got a great selection of power tools and quite a variety of most other items that you need for that Saturday DIY project. I personally use the Home Depot App when Im in the store. Its got a great locating function that tells you what isle and bay a certain item is in. The staff is generally helpful, however it can be hit/miss depending on who you talk with. During my last trip, an employee helped me locate an obscure item very quickly, which impressed me. Other times it has been impossible to flag someone down. If youre looking for something specific, Id recommend you search online before going to the store. There is a search function that allows you to lookup what is in a particular store that you specify. Ive save a lot of time with that! You can also order items online and have them shipped to the store for free. In multiple experiences, the online ordering process is more cumbersome that just going into the store to find/buy your products. Recently when I was in, I ended up needing a different item that what I had ordered for the in-store pickup. It took about 10 minutes to process a return for an item that I hadnt even picked up. Yikes! I dont recommend it unless you have are grabbing a whole slew of items. Lumber, something Ive picked up there routinely, is really hit and miss. Bring some gloves and plan to look through the pile to find the straight boards without knots. You can find it, but itll take a bit of effort! Prices are average and the staff is friendly enough. Id give it four stars except how bad the online ordering pickup has been for me. Overall, I like the app and its helpfulness, but I cant get past the online ordering issues. Home Depot is a decent option, but Im not sure if it is any better than its major competitors.

Stay in business. Keep up the great work. Although I gave u a 5 star, however, I need to work on over the phone. Just a Suggestion: make 2 sets of customer service ie 1 for the floor & 2 phone but since we r in the age of space talk...lol instead of phone calls texting would be a lot better and not on the floor but in front of inventory with up today prices. And of course change every 4 to 6 hours. I would like to c this in every store year round, but holidays would be a good time to start..if customers dont have text, its always good to take a break from the new way of customer service. And got back to old way, that worked but not as fast and you wouldnt be getting a lot of dropped calls. When I was working in customer service. It was my personal goals to make that person feel very important. I was very good at customer assistance. I always had the thought in mind to thank them for putting food on the table and helping my survival. I worked for 30 + years. Ive team trained. Had a lot of fun. Its nice to have a gift on how to read ppl. Customers can and are very rude, but u can make their day as well as they can also make ur day. Keep the thought in mind that with out the consumers, there is no circle of livelihood. Wish I could go back and train. I c a lot that retailers r still doing wrong...bummer...but just because you guys have put the best effort. A 5 ***** retailers to u. Kudos... Happy Holidays To you and yours...

This is probably the biggest DIY store in town. It has everything from lightbulbs to lumber and all kinds of tools, hardware and appliances, etc. If you zoom into the image of the store on Google Maps, you get a store map, (which may or may not be updated when they make a change.) The staff is very helpful, and I can usually find someone to lead or direct me to something I am looking for. I would give them a 5, except that there are some tools and such that I end up going elsewhere for.

Its hard to decide how to rate this place... I have had two experiences where the customer service was friendly and somewhat helpful. Then another two where the help was non existent or bordered on a little rude (but it seemed unintentional). I think they just have a staff that is spread too thin and maybe doesnt communicate well. Very typical big box store. Only worth it if they have a super cheap sale, or something.

My experience with this local Home Depot is not very satisfactory. I ordered carpet, was guaranteed and install date when I spoke to the sales person when I was purchasing the carpet, only to be lied to later down the road by the store manager joe and was frankly dismissed. I was told that I was getting a "great deal" and I should be happy about it. Id take my business elsewhere for all future purchases.

How in the world does this place stay in business. Their phones dont work or disconnect people, their employees favorite saying is, "I DONT KNOW", yet these idiots have a job. What has world come to when u have dimwits running the show? It is called HOME DIPSHITS. Why cant anyone be kind, patient, cooperative, interested in u?

I love shopping at Home Depot. Ive been getting into remodeling so Im there pretty frequently. Once or twice a week at the minimum. The staff are great and I love their power tools. Great reviews in trade magazines and an awesome warranty. I really cant say enough good things about this store.

Bought carpet there, and after almost two months of waiting and arguing with multiple rude employees and managers we ask for a refund! Horrible Customer service!!! Never Again! I would rate my experience there a zero but this site wont let me!

Lumber on a Saturday morning is busy! So lets put one cashier and have a huge line of grumbling people try to get out the door to start their projects! One week later still one cashier and long lines in hardware dropped another star

Terrible. I called to get a carpet measurement scheduled. I was cycled through the flooring desk multiple times with nobody answering and then back to the customer service desk. Twice, they eventually hung up on me. What a joke!

Great selection as with most Home Depot stores, I was asked if I needed help twice in the 15 minutes I was there so the staff seems very attentive.
