I was pleasantly surprised at the selection. Ive been to most of the specialty grocery stores in Vancouver and Portland. This place had brands Id never even heard of and many of them were gluten/wheat free, nut free, AND dairy free, a combination that is very hard to come by. The fresh produce section is almost entirely seasonal but small and 1/3rd of the store is dedicated to naturopathy if youre interested in that. My only complaint would be that they dont have bags, they use the boxes that their products arrive in which was kind of hilarious but now we have a bunch of boxes that smell like warehouses that well try to return in a few days to be reused. Im very grateful this store exists though, as much as Safeway or Fred Meyer try to have specialty food sections theyll never fully commit like this place has. The only other place worth going to in Vancouver for allergy friendly selections is Lingonberries, with Whole Foods and Chucks Produce in a tie for third place.

I am SO THANKFUL that Natural Grocers is in town! I no longer have to trek the whole family across town and hope to find what Im looking for at New Seasons or Whole Foods. I shop exclusively now at Natural Grocers, Chucks Produce and Costco-- its so nice to not have everything I buy within a 10 minutes drive. I am also extremely impressed by the integrity of the store and the products that they carry. In fact, within the first week of opening, Id suggested a handful of products that Id normally have to buy online and they had them in stock in lightning speed! I love small businesses with care for what their consumers want! There is so much more free market space when you get out of the corporate "bought-off" stores. I gladly continue to support Natural Grocers!

Very disappointed with your store right now. My husband slipped on a wet floor near the entrance (which lacked a wet floor sign) and fell on his back yesterday. No one helped him or offered to file an accident report, he had to request one. When he called to talk to the manager today the manager basically said it was his fault that he fell because he did not wipe his feet on the mat and "the floor wasnt wet prior to you stepping on it." My husband has arthritis and the fall has caused a flare up in his knee. Very frustrated there is a lack of compassion for my husband and the store is blaming him. I hope you handle situations like this better in the future, and we will absolutely not be shopping here anymore.

This store has been a great addition to our area. Competitive prices, ALL organic produce, ALL grass fed dairy and meat - they may not have all the brands or selection because of that promise, but you dont have to think about the quality of what you are buying or if the information on the label is valid. They check all of that out extensively and add or remove vendors if they do or dont align with the companys values to carry the best available. Extensive selection of supplements and Ecofriendly toiletries. The bulk section, but especially the bulk spices, is amazing. Love this store.

This place sucks. The food has an unnaturally high price. Really, it is ridiculous. The prices are definitely equivalent to the most elegant, high class, eco-loving, natural, organic stores. The selection leaves much to be desired. I find most of these products at other nearby stores for a lower price. I honestly dont see the point of this store. I would much rather have a Trader Joes, Chucks, Whole Foods or New Seasons take its place.

I have always had a good experience at Natural Grocers. They have a huge selection of supplements and are very informative in helping you make a good choice. Their prices seem to be lower than other stores that carry same product. They carry all natural/organic grocery items. Staff is friendly. I shop there quite often. I did order a GMO free turkey and will be interested to find how differently it taste.

Great value here! My only frustration is that theres a lot of inconsistencies between which supplements are carried in each store. Its likely the supplement I love from one store is only available at that location. They will order it for you, but that obviously adds a lag to when you can actually get it (and it may be more convenient to just go back to the one you know has it).

They had a good selection of specialty items I needed that I could not find at other grocery stores. But as with specialty items they are pricey. I was caught off-guard by just how expensive it was. The employees were helpful and knowledgeable. Make sure you bring your own bag if they dont have disposable grocery sacks in the store unless you purchase a reusable.

Great place for organic produce and foodstuffs. If you are gluten free, vegan or dairy free then you will find a lot of options in one place. It is small so there arent a lot of options compared to larger stores but if you are working with a specialized diet then you wont notice. Not a lot of meat options and no deli.

Customer service is absolutely amazing. Produce assistant Manager Warren was very kind. Took time to explain to me why I couldnt fine items in stores instead of trying to make me feel stupid. I believe this new Grocery Store is an Added bonus to the neighborhood. They definitely know how to treat customers!

Best price on their own turbinado sugar around. Good peanut butter. Most things are a little spendy. Dont try flax seed milk. You will regret it. Dont buy organic milk 3 days away from expiration for a discount price because you will regret it even more. Other than that I stop here all the time.

Love, Love ,Love this place. Customer service is excellent and genuine. Prices are good and so is selection. All the free give a ways(that I may not have otherwise tried), I now buy regularly--they are what actually first brought me to the store- so thanks Natural Grocers!

They are able to suggest supplements. They have dietician Coachs that will set down with you and help you make a road map to getting healthier and it is a free service. They also have a huge section of healthy lotions and make up products. Remember to bring your own bag

Great, supplement selection. Takes up probably a third of the store. They even have a couple books where you can look up herbal remedies for things. Also, all the produce is organic and fairly priced. Wish there was another closer to my house.

Really neat store, full of the natural good things as well as a great vitamin and supplements section. Organic produce, fair trade goods, vegan options, and fantastic customer service. BYO bags or use a re-use box from their stockpile.

Found exactly what we needed even learned that green onions and scallions are the same thing. And also found many essential oils that my partner really likes. Really good sales and everything is organic.

Its a good, clean store with a great idea for recycling boxes, lots of organics, a meeting area, and a friendly staff. I would like to see more locally sourced meats there is all.
