Although this is a Five star review it is mainly a warning! I have traveled the whole US as a rock hound and I guarantee you that diversity of this magnitude, disregarding the amazing quality, and price will make you leave this place with not only the most amazing rock collection but a dry bank account.... OK I was lying about the bank account part but I will visit this rock shop every other weekend for the remainder of my time in the north west it cant be beaten. The staff by themselves are amazing, not only by their amazing knowledge but incredible customer service. I could go on for days but to leave this short and simple Handleys is meca for all rock collectors in the north western united states!

The girl running the the place was rude with me and my wife, she did not have the patience to let my wife select the pieces she needed for her jewelry show the next day, her father was okay he helped us to complete our order of $85, while she kept staring at the back my head as if we were there to steal while she completely ignored other customers in the store. I dont know if I should go back, I was expecting better treatment for someone who is has a small business to bring them future business.

Handleys is a great shop! Ive been going to them for many years and their knowledge of tools and materials is second to none. Whether you are a beginner or an expert the people of Handleys can help you greatly. And the shop is full of everything you need, tools, materials, rocks, jems, books, everything you need is there.

Pretty, disappointed. I was in the store 10 mins completely ignored, and finally had to grab the gal for two items, waited another 10min while She stood behind the register talking about Facebook!? After 20mins I decided to leave, I will not be coming back, or recommending.

I have gotten 2 custom rings designed at Handleys, the process can be slow, and contacting them for updates a challenge, but the rings turned out beautiful. So if you deal with some 50/50 customer service, you can get a good product.

The staff were very nice and tried to help me find what i needed. They didnt have exactly what i needed but they helped me find something that wopuld work. i give them four stars only because they didnt have exactly what i needed

They wont give you an appraisal on youre rocks or jewelry, dont go there. On the phone they said that they would but when I got there they told me to leave.
