I kept losing the emeralds on the ring guard for my wedding set, in fact three separate times. The "big chain" store I was dealing with never bothered to tell my that emeralds were the softest of gem stones. Tim did, saying it was the poorest of choices for a ring guard. He recommended sapphires, a much harder stone. He also recommended replacing the tips with white gold, as it is harder than yellow gold and at the same time is brighter, making the diamonds and sapphires pop much more. Boy was he right! My ring is beautiful! He did a great job, and I appreciate his professionalism. He fixed my ring the best way where the "big chain" sent me out the door several times with no regard to advising me that emeralds were such a poor choice. That equated to me throwing good money after bad several times. On top of it, Tims prices were SO much more reasonable! I will NEVER go to a big chain store again. Any jewelry needs I have in the future will be taken care of by Tim. He really IS my friend in the diamond business!

I recently asked Time Barlow Jewelers to reset my monthers engagement ring in a lower setting so I can wear it to work. I work in the medical profession, and I wear patient gloves daily so I, cant wear my wedding ring. I have been wearing a plain band the past few years, and I wanted to wear something more meaningful. So, I realized that my moms engagement ring would be perfect once the small diamond didnt sit up so high. I took it to Tim and told him what I wanted. Five mintutes later, he gave me two options with the cost of each one. They were both very reasonable. I dropped my ring off on Tuesday and pick it up on Friday. I LOVE it! It is exactly what I wanted. The best part is now when I look at my ring, is that I get a sweet reminder of my family! I highly recommend using Tim Barlow Jewelers!

This is a great small-town jewelry store. Tim has motorcycles in the store to look at while your wife or girlfriend does her shopping, and he is very friendly. He has helped me with things from putting batteries in my watch to finding the perfect gift for my wife for our 20th wedding anniversary. The displays in the store are limited, but he has MUCH more than is in the displays, and he will help you find what you want regardless of the price range you are looking for. He is a full-service jeweler and can make, repair and alter jewelry or glasses or watchbands or anything like that. Prices are reasonable and his service is great. I love this store.

Tim reset a few diamonds I had into a new custom ring and earrings and he did an amazing job! I took a picture of what I liked and he did exactly what I wanted. I cant say whether or not his price is competitive because we didnt shop around, but he really seemed to know what he was doing and has 40+ years of experience. He made suggestions on the design to make the ring more durable and long lasting. He also got it done in a little over a week, so that was awesome! I really preferred working with him instead of some chain jewelry store that doesnt do the work onsite. Tim obviously takes pride in his work.

This is a fantastic jeweler, very affordable and helpful! I went to Fred Meyer Jeweler to have a clasp on a silver chain fixed and they wanted $150 and a month to fix it, which is obscene and offensive for such a simple fix. Not to mention the sales lady looked at me like I had grown two heads and took 10 minutes to find the chain in her "book." I went into Tim Barlow Jewelers and he not only charged me just $30 for the clasp and the work but also completed the fix in about 15 minutes. I will never again go to a big company jeweler.

I highly recommend Tims amazingly beautiful work, whether it is a one of a kind piece you are looking for, or a repair on a family heirloom His craftmenship is stunning. Finding a custom jeweler these days is hard to do, but one with his talent and quality, impossible. He is truley an artist. If you get an opportunity to stop in ask him to show you the gorgeous huge opal pendant he designed. All I can say is Wow! I have work done by him a few times and they have always been finished way before the date given.

Tim is a Wonderful small business owner/operator its great to see real customer service in a time when its almost unheard of! I needed a stone changed and the ring sized. Time was a real issue for me. The ring was an early Anniversary gift from my loving wife. She really wanted me to have before my 50th birthday party so everyone could see it. We did not think anyone would be able to have the work done in time. Thankfully Tim was able to make it under the wire. And the work was flawless!

I went to Tim to have my wedding ring repaired. He recommended platinum to repair the setting that holds the main diamond, surprisingly no-one had ever suggested that option. It is much stronger and will last longer than traditional gold, so it is a win-win. Tims service is prompt, he did the whole job in less than 1 day. He is friendly, courteous and has been established in Hazel Dell 35 plus years. I would recommend him highly.

Tim crafted a beautiful custom designed wedding ring to fit some diamond that were handed down to me. The ring was absolutely exquisite and the design flowed together perfectly. I get so many compliments on my one of a kind ring. Tim was also very helpful in suggesting the size I needed as well as always offering to clean it when I came back in. I would definitely go back to Tim for any jewelry needs or fixes in the future.

Timothy did a fantastic job on my wedding band. I went to other jewelry stores to get a custom band done and his price was the least. He told me it would be ready in 2-3 weeks, but it was done in just 1 week. My ring is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. He truly is a professional.
