Friends just for back in from their wedding in Florida. We decided to stop here on the way back home, an hour away. Walked thru the store, found what we wanted including a glass. Got to check out, three of us with Ids, myself two weeks from 36, but my friend had lost hers in the trip. Not only did they deny our alcohol purchases but also the glass when I requested just that with the reasoning of not being able to sell to us for 24 hours. First of all, I have every legal right to purchase alcohol regardless of my company and secondly, thrift stores sells alcoholic beverage glasses to anyone. Did I mention my friend without the ID was pregnant and couldnt drink anyway? Thank you for making us out to be doing something illegal when it totally wasnt as if were criminals. Also, three of us are in the Navy and if you dont know, Navy personnel do a decent amount of drinking. You have just lost out on a lot of sales. A job well done. Cheers!

Extremely Poor Customer Service. They had a lower price posted on their web site for one of the items I wanted to purchase from the Tukwila store. I showed the price to two different employees and they confirmed the discrepancy between the web site and the price listed on the shelf. They even had me refresh the web page and reconfirmed that the price was for the Tukwila store. Neither employee could/would honor the lower price. I insisted on talking to the manager. He took more than 10 minutes before he finally arrived at the checkout stand. He asked me to refresh the Web page and all of a sudden the higher price was shown (a coincidence? Perhaps, but it seems more than a little suspicious to me). At this point he said he could not honor the price even though both employees had confirmed the discrepancy. Extremely poor customer service.

I walked around in shock at their selection. They have everything from your basic draft American beers to the imported beers from Ireland, Germany, Spain, etc. They have seasonal beers from Washington breweries. Porters, Stouts, IPA, Red Ales, Ciders, Wines, Scotch, Vodka, Whiskey, Ginger Beer, oh my! The list can go on! The staff are helpful and know where everything is if youre looking for something well known. But they also have a computer system that will tell you if they carry it and what aisle it would be in. I also liked that each beverage had a description of taste and what country it came from.

When my fiance and I went in to this store we shopped around and had picked up quite a few bottles of liquor and had even grabbed a few cigars and were in the check out line when our turn came round the attendant asked for our I.D.s and when my fiance showed hers to the attendant they had to call up two (2) different managers to look at the I.D., the issue being that it was bent down the middle and they couldnt accept it. The head manager ended up not accepting the I.D. which left us in the front of a line, embarrassed and having to leave. We will not be purchasing anything from Total Wine ever again.

Their selection of the Bordeaux wines that I prefer is excellent, but when I asked to buy a case, I was told that I had to telephone ahead. Since I live in a rural area 80 miles north, this was an unrealistic request. Actually, I wanted to purchase 4 cases of wine and expected to pay about $1,500.00 and expected to take none of the clerks time except to assemble the cases. The same clerks seemed to spend unlimited time helping a customer choose a single bottle for a special dinner. I guess they dont want my business, so I wont be back.

Total Wine is one of the best things to happen since privatization allowed grocery-sized liquor stores to open up. They can compete with Costco on price, and blow them away for selection. Their craft/specialty beer selection is especially good, though its not treated with as much care as a specialty bottle shop so you should probably stay away from any dusty bottles that have been sitting out in the warmth and light for too long.

The happiest place on Earth! The one thing I truly love about this place is the helpful and knowledgeable staff. There are pictures of staff members who have tried and recommend certain craft beers, wines or spirits that you are interested in. Not to mention the classes that are held several times a month in order to not only learn about your favorite but maybe, expand your views as well.

OMG I love this place! I wish we had one of these here (in Hawaii). They have a great selection of all types of alcohol (wine, beer, spirits). I usually come here to get my growlers filled. You can see whats currently available at the growler station by checking their website. This is one of those stores that you go in looking for 2 things and walk out with a basket full of great stuff.

I can stay in this store alllll Day!! From looking at all the cool Gadgets to buy, to wine tasting, alcohol tasting, and shopping for the best liquor.. The staff are amazing!! They always recommend great liquor and show the comparison.. if you get home and try it and dont like it you can bring it back.. This is my favorite store to also buy gifts!!!

Loved the Total Discovery Sip & Mingle tonight. Amber Dreyer was so knowledgeable, helpful & had such a great sense of humor. Bekah Stromeyer was so knowledgeable & helpful on the sales floor helping us find what we were looking for. She even suggested something we didnt know we would like & it was incredible! Love them!!

While I thought BevMo had a good selection, Total Wine has a lot more. Especially for specialty or hard to find items. The staff was very helpful and they even has staff recommendations for certain items, which is VERY useful in making an informed choice.

Free samples of wine, spirits, and beer. Great place to try new drinks. They are helpful. I went looking for a Valentine drink and came out with a new mixed drink that I cant wait to try and chocolate red wine.

All Total wines deserve five stars. They have an enormous variety of wines and craft beers. If you cant find what you are looking for here, the only other option is the Internet. Reasonable prices, too!
