Jake recently began a Japanese style sleeve for me. I have been tattooed by a lot of people, including many who have had front page coverage in tattoo magazines. Jake is at the top of the list as far as skill is concerned, but his creativity puts him over the top! I provided a few pictures as ideas, and told him what my concept was. He drew a piece that captured everything I had been hoping for. He has made suggestions that I could not have thought of, and his coloring recommendations leave me very excited to see the outcome. The shop is not what one would expect for a tattoo studio. It is located in a vintage building with very cool fir flooring, doors and trim. The feel is very calming and homey. The view of the Cascades and Snohomish Valley is stunning, and really complements the experience! Jake is gentle and kind, and made my experience the best that I have had getting inked. Oh yes...he has a great selection of whatever music you would like to hear. If you are looking for a truly unique and creative custom piece, call or visit Jake. Bring your ideas and pictures. You will be very satisfied and proud to wear your new piece of artwork.

Jake is a true artist. I went to him with a very vague idea of what I wanted in order to cover some very old, not-well-thought-out-at-the-time ink. I tossed a couple of ideas at him and showed him my existing work and what he came back with was an amazing design that incorporated my sketchy ideas that tied into the theme of my other tattoos. Through the tattooing process Jake never failed to be gentle and concerned for my overall comfort keeping me advised as to where we were in the process. Jakes artistic vision and talent brought the sketch to life with color and depth that I would never have dreamed of.

I have 2 tattoos done by Jake and more to come! I came to him with ideas of what I wanted and what he drew up for my was perfect and beautiful! Both times the tattooing process took serveral hours and the whole time I felt comfortable and Jake was easy to talk to. One visit to get a tattoo finished I brought a few friends in and he laughed at our stories of the past, it was great! Both tattoos are beautifull and I love them and I constantly get compliments on them! I will be back there soon with my next tattooing adventure! His shop is clean and I love how its designed! Very unique!

The woman I spoke with (dreads, left side of head was shaved) was apparently unaware that I know what my child has asked for not only the fact that I had gone in for her birthday present (my daughter asked to get her ears pierced like mama and I wanted them done professionally) and she rudely turned me down as if I didnt know what was best or how well my daughter would do. I understand an app. Thats all you needed to say. But Im sorry. I will never walk foot in here again. -angry mama

Jake has excellent skills. He has done many hours of work on me and will be doing many many more. Were one sitting away from finishing my Zombie Koi half sleeve so keep checking the website to see the finished piece. He has great taste and has worked with other top artists in the tattoo industry and his work speeks for itself. I absolutely love Snohomish Tattoo & Piercing! I got my industrial and my nose pierced by Shelly. She was amazing! He kept me calm, made sure everything was clean. She changed her gloves about 15 time just to make sure everything was sterile. I would not go to any other place to get pierced. Very kind people! A wonderful experience. Thank You Shelly!!!!!!
