Paul is the reason for 5 stars. I loved his approach to piercing. Calm, patient and friendly. Obviously knowledgable and skilled. I never felt rushed but I was done in no time and the piercings were perfectly even and exactly where i wanted them. Then after my sweetheart bought a new lip ring for a partially closed hole he offered to put it in at no charge. She said it was no trouble. Shes done it before. But he insisted and she is really happy he did because it turned out to be tricky. I got the impression that he genuinely cared, and thats not all that common. I count myself lucky to have found this shop. Thank you Paul! And thank you to the woman behind the counter. You were also awesome! Yall have created a very inviting atmosphere and your professionalism is appreciated.

This is a special place. The staff are happy and helpful which is a sign of great management, and the management is a co-op of all the resident artists, so everybodys very engaged in whats happening. The shop itself is inviting, open, clean, and completely completely bullshit-free, making it someplace you want to spend your time and money. Most importantly, the artists are top notch, both in time taken to really get your designs right and skill in the application. If I lived in the area, Mission Street Tattoo would be my new go-to for ink, and it (and my artist Ron Nelson) certainly will be if I need any on my next visit to the Santa Cruz area.

Got a tattoo with Gio today, it was dope. He did an absolutely perfect job, adjusted the art I brought in for free to make it perfect; he was super nice. I actually arrived late and felt bad but there were absolutely no bad vibes. The price was absolutely reasonable for the work put in; basically it was the stated hourly price of 150 per hour. Do NOT hesitate to come here. The experience each time I came in was perfect. There was no nonsense I dropped off my pictures yesterday, came in and he had already adapted it. Great experience.

Have only gotten piercings here but the piercer (Paul) is one of the nicest people I have ever met. The whole place is really well kept and the other people there that Ive interacted with are really friendly as well. Also Paul makes sure everything is safe/sterile, that you are able to get a piercing that will heal correctly if taken care of, will answer any of your questions, and makes sure you leave satisfied.

I went in on a weekday to get my lobes double pierced, and they werent super busy. I was in and out quickly, and my piercer was super nice and thorough in prepping (needle was autoclaved). Their jewelry is quality, they give you lots of info about aftercare, and (most importantly) everything is extremely clean and sanitary.

Geo was my artist and he did a fantastic job. My dad and mom past away and I got a tattoo of an owl that my father made me out of wood, and Geo brought it to life. I wish I could post a picture of it. I absolutely love it thank you .

First off Geo was great! It was easy to make an appointment. Everyone there was very professional and seem like they all do good work. Friendly folks, clean and neat, well lit and nice and open. Easy to find not so easy to park.
