This review is for the pharmacy at Walmart. I went here because the pharmacy at Fred Meyer was unacceptable. I like the pharmacists at Walmart and most of the clerks, however there are some clerks who refuse to work their complete shift. I stepped up to the desk where you drop off the prescriptions and there was a sign there that said Lane Closed. There was a lane that was blocked by the dividers they put up to ensure privacy like they did not want anyone to walk up to the window. I thought this was odd because it was only 8:30 and the pharmacy did not close till 9. When I walked up to the pick up side and explained that I needed my prescription because I was all out, the woman looked back and told the clerk who was supposed to be at her post on the drop off side and this woman, who was middle aged and had blond shoulder length curly hair (obviously peroxide) rolled her eyes. When a store advertises that a pharmacy is open till 9:00 then the drop off window had better be open till 9:00 regardless of whether a clerk wishes to be at their post doing her work or not. This is the way it works at Walgreens, which is not located in Shelton, by the way or I would have gone there. I am tired of these lazy and inconsiderate clerks who have all the time in the world to check the DEA system just to harass you when you are obtaining a prescription medication that was written legally by a physician for a condition that they know nothing about and is none of their business. How would they like to be harrassed when they are simply trying to live with a medical condition - not selling drugs or getting high. Maybe they feel empowered by doing this because they are behind the counter working at Walmart and feel downtrodden and oppressed. Well, if I felt that bad about my job, Id certainly try to do something about it, rather than taking it out on others who are afflicted with medical conditions that they know nothing about. Maybe a class at the community college to improve themselves and get a better job? Something that would make them feel good about themselves rather than taking it out on customers. Pharmacy clerks, medical assistants and receptionists wield far too much power in this state and the professionals who work above them are either oblivious or they just dont care

I feel CORPORATE Needs to take a look at the customer complaints on this store!! I had My 6th spine surgery recently due to ms & because Im on narcotic meds from a REAL DOCTOR (IVE NEVER HAD ISSUES BEFORE THIS STORE) I feel & felt they PURPOSELY are rude on certain meds! And on more than 1 time being told 1 hour wait & I shopped & was about 1 hour & 35 min after dropping them off, then came to pharmacy to see the MAN PHARMACIST TAKE HIS TIME & was rude when he knew I was waiting .Not all the staff are bad but the ones that are, need a customer service class!! Those if us who DONT sell our meds & take them as prescribed get treated like addicts because they feel empowered. I WATCHED THE MAN TAKE HIS TIME W ME & 2 OTHER WOMEN WAITING ON THE SAME NARCOTIC PAIN MEDS! I Wasnt going to write anything but after reading another customer review I just realized I WASNT CRAZY & THIS WAS HAPPENING TO ME TOO!
