"We JUST got the order for your prescription." & "It will be ready _______." Two big lies youll hear quite often if you decide to use Target pharmacy on Gateway. I have used this pharmacy for 9 years. I am lucky enough not to need prescriptions on a regular basis or I would have dumped these guys long ago. They are lucky enough to be located in Target (I dont mind spending a little time waiting here) or I would have dumped them long ago! For example (the last straw): I called a to check on a prescription for my daughter that she needed the same day. They said weve got the order, please give us an hour. I am fine with an hour wait. I have other things I can get done and, in fact, I had so much to do I didnt show up to pick up the prescription for 2 hours. When I got to the pick up window I was told, "Oh, we dont have that particular medication in store." I said, "Ok, why did you not call or even text to tell me that?" They said, "I dont know, were sorry." "Why did you not confirm with me this morning when I called to check with you?" "Again, we dont know, were sorry." The technician tells me that my daughters medication will be in the mornings shipment. She advised me to call around 10am and let them know I would be coming by to pick it up in the afternoon. So that is what I do. When I called the next day, the technician on the phone said the one that I spoke to the previous day should not have told me to call so early. The technician also informed me that the medication did not come in the order. In fact she told me there was a hold put on my daughters order because it was thought that my insurance might not pay for it. I was DONE. I needed this medication for my daughter yesterday...not a bunch of excuses and lies to try to placate me. Why didnt someone get a hold of me and explain this to me and give ME the option of paying out of pocket (Because I would have)? She told me it wasnt her fault it was some new tech they had hired from California. I said, I know the person who helped me yesterday is NOT new...she has been there at least 6 months and besides I am not speaking with this technician I am speaking to you. This is not a personal attack against you. I am telling you that this is unacceptable behavior from a business, my daughter needed that medication YESTERDAY, and you have now lost at least 5 customers.

I wish I could give them a zero. the pharmacist was incredibly rude and cut me off. He told me that because the FDA says that the version of the medication I needed was "exactly" the same as the one I am used to getting that they are allowed to sell it to me. Nevermind that the version they are trying to pass off as "exactly" the same caused me to throw up every time I have tried it in the past...not the thing you want from a medication designed to stop nausea! Also, he told me he didnt even bother to check if he could order the one I needed. This was a great pharmacy before it was merged with CVS. Funny how the second I called Walgreens to transfer my meds back to them they had no issue with giving me the correct version. Suck it CVS!!!!!!!

We returned to walgreens pharmacy after our insurance required us to move to this pharmacy. The people at the pharmacy visited with their friends working in the pharmacy about their kids baseball, what they did over the weekend, etc., while people were waiting in line to either drop off or pick up their prescriptions. Treated their customers, including me, that it was a annoyance to help us. Even though we have to pay more for our prescriptions at Walgreens, they are always happy to see you, they remember your name, they ask how you are doing today, etc. I would not recommend to anyone to use CVS pharmacy.

The pharmacy techs and pharmacists are the most helpful and friendly I have ever experienced. I cant imagine having a negative experience here. They are very knowledgeable, intelligent people who have always treated me well. There have been some issues with the transition from a Target Pharmacy to a CVS Pharmacy with regard to getting their computer systems integrated, but that was a failing on CVSs part and is all resolved now. If you do have a negative experience here, maybe you should look in the mirror and consider your own behavior. This is a very professional staff.

The People at the TARGET CVS PHARMACY were very rude. Said they were not allowed to transfer a prescriptions to the CVS MAIL ORDER PHARMACY. Even though I had talked to the CVS MAIL ORDER PHARMACY and got the instructions and Fax numbers for them to use. The TARGET CVS PHARMACY employee still had the Gaul to tell me CVS MAIL ORDER PHARMACY does not allow transfers from Store Pharmacies to the Mail Order Pharmacy. Guess she didnt think I would be able to tell I LIE when I smelled one. Should be five Negative Stars!!!

The Springfield Target CVS Pharmacy staff and pharmacists are professional, courteous, friendly, competent and professional. They address your personal needs quickly and accurately. This prescription costs are considerable lower than my previous pharmacy, too. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the service weve received. Wayne and Jeannine

This pharmacy is a nightmare for out of town users. The staff is incompetent, they will not hesitate to waste your time driving to and from, only to leave empty handed. Customer service isnt of their highest priorities, to say the very least.

When youre an individual who doesnt have insurance based purely on circumstances and uses every coupon available to function on a basic level, it doesnt require a rude attitude to refuse to honor coupons I use just to survive.

Arrived on a busy evening and were told the wait would be 20 min and it was 15. Well informed staff answered questions and were very polite and helpful. This will be my first choice pharmacy from now on.
