Surprisingly nice, airy outpost to get a cuppa on the fringes of Belltown. Theyre just far away from the core to be quiet, and definitely cool enough to make the trip to support. Street Bean helps kids from the streets learn about coffee, giving them a chance to make some money and lift themselves up. Their approach seems to get everyone in there excited about their offerings and making a great cup. (Macchiato in this case.) They also sell a variety of beans, from roasters like Kuma, as well as others -- check their website/Twitter account for the latest batch. If youre looking for meeting space, they have some nice room in the back set aside for that. Otherwise, bring a laptop or a book and enjoy yourself.

I have been going there for over a year now and find new art by new artist almost every month. The people that work there are great and take good care of their customers. Their products are very reasonable and they even offer French Press for the price of Drip Coffee. They know their coffee by holding consistent coffee bean sampling tours and as a non-profit provide job training and employment for young adults working to exit street life. Where else can you feel good for helping a good cause by getting a great cup of Joe?

Easily my favorite cafe in Seattle. They have some of the best coffee in Seattle, and its direct trade so helps the farmers the most. Free wifi, lots of seating, great fit out. And this is all before you discover its a vocational training cafe for street kids. Its only open Monday to Friday *sad panda* but definitely my Belltown go to.

very clean. outdoor seating. simple. the coffee was delicious. they gave me a paper cup because they said they were closing in an hour...no biggie. The coffee i had was a bit tangy but dark. Had a great roasted flavor and a perfect amount of bitterness.

Amazing coffee and atmosphere. The WIFI is good enough to work on your projects. It is rather small, but you will enjoy this small coffee shop and you will support a good cause. Check for their website to get more information about their mission.

Amazing space, swampy home roasted drip, great reprieve from the weather. I feel as though the preponderance of open floor space - though wonderfully airy - might be better filled with seating? A great meeting place, in either case.

We stopped in for a brief refuelling on our walk from Pike Place Market to the Space Needle. Friendly service, good coffee and tea and even a gluten free scone to munch on. And we didnt even know it supported a great cause.
