San Franciscan, born and raised and I LOVE this place. Such a warm feel. The staff are great, fast workers, even when the line is out of the door. Certainly it caters to mostly tourists, but the staff are 100% authentic and the souvenirs are very high caliber. As for the food selection, it could be better, but they dont have a full kitchen, so really, they offer the necessities. It also doesnt hurt that my 6 year old self still occupies a small picture on the historical pillar out front, but hey, who cares, right? ;) Definitely worth making the visit whenever I am home.

This is a tourist shop that sells San Francisco branded items but its all quality stuff (read as not tacky). Strange concept. I actually found myself wanting to buy some of the items. I did end up splitting a tuna melt sandwich with my friend. It was pricey, took forever to come out, and got handed to us in a simple paper wrapping, but it tasted like a champ. Walking east to west, this is a fine shop for a last chance at food before venturing closer to the bridge. We, as Americans, would do well to have all our tourist shops be this classy.

I come here once a month and love this place for a number of reasons. First, its very aptly named. It can be very chilly and windy at Crissy Field -- especially on the pier -- and the Warming Hut is fantastically warm and cozy. Second, the coffee and hot chocolate here are terrific, and the guys who make it are attentive and friendly. Third, they sell lots of interesting San Francisco tourist stuff here, which is fine with me. I would prefer a slightly better food selection, but thats not a big negative.

Wonderful location, yummy sanwiches, sweets and hot and cold drinks. Delightful selection of SF and GG Bridge books and souvenirs for all ages and interests, proceeds benefit GGNRA. E.g. bird books, history of the bridge, Cal. Wildlife. Kids chapter books like All Capone Does My Shirts (about Alcatraz) and picture books. Golden gate bridge rivets. Sea otter kites.california wildflower seeds. Nice walk here from east end of Crissy Field and back., Or Fort Point. Or arrive by rented bicycle.

I love the warming hut, mainly for 1 reason. It means Ive reached my turn around point on my regular run. It sits at the end of the marina promenade, after Crissy Field and before Fort Point. Cute little location right at the fishing pier with a breathtaking view of the Golden Gate Bridge. The warming hut itself is one of those iconic SF places that people talk about in terms of a location rather than a business establishment. Its a cute little store inside, but most never see that.

Really rude staff making coffee! My partner only ordered a black coffee. Literally no customers on a Tuesday morning. 20 minutes later, he politely enquired to where this coffee was and the women snapped at him that she was making it... I get that you screwed up, but taking that out on a customer isnt cool. Im unsure at 9 in the morning why the worker here would be in such horrid mood already. Anyways very disappointed by the service. It is unfortunate, as the cafe is rather lovely.

I love the Warming Hut. Its such a treat to happen upon a welcome venue like this on a walk from the Marina to the GG Bridge, especially on a chilly day. Good quality food and beverages (better than Starbucks) and friendly staff. Also, great merchandise to purchase, like gifts, books, souvenirs, hats, t-shirts, etc. Staff is not the speediest, but they are very friendly and welcoming.

La atención muy cordial y súper predispuesta. Me encantó poder conseguir algo Gluten Free y que realmente fueran tan considerados. Volveremos muy seguramente.....

Fica na vista mais incrível. As filas são longas e o banheiro externo com filas longas e muito sujo. Para um lanche e ótimo se vc não se importar com filas

Cramp, small space. The cashier needs to continuously improve her service to meet the international standards since this is a world wide famous interest place. Poor quality stuff like the micro kite, is so flimsy that it gets broken immediately after opening. It should be removed from the shelf. Other goods seem to be overpriced.

Last coffee shop before the Golden Gate bridge, as the name implies its a great place to warm up on the foggy days. Surprisingly they have a full kitchen, and offer salads and sandwiches as well. They also have a gift shop filled with National Park related items. There is indoor seating and public bathrooms around back.

Very cosy, feels a world away. ..and amazing to get out of the wind. Ask for your drinks extra hot though if you dont want them to be cold in a second. Its a bit touristy, but what do you expect in that area. Great that all proceeds go to the park, not a commercial place - it adds a nice feel.

Negozio principalmente di souvenir, comodo per la posizione se fate due passi in spiaggia, poiché vendono bibite, caffè e cornetti.

Its a beautiful walk to get to the warming hut so well worth it. Its just a small cafe and gift shop, so there arent a lot of options to eat anything substantial, but they have sandwiches, chips, coffee, tea, etc. (There is usually a hot dog vendor outside though if youre desparate).

This place is aptly named! With fogfy days and the want/need for a warm drink, the loving hut provides both shelter and beverages to warm the soul! They also have a unique collection of Golden Gate Bridge souvenirs! A great place to stop while youre over by the bridge or Crissy Field.

An aptly named quintessential stop for those seeking shelter while embarking on the ever-popular GG Bridge pilgrimage. It does well at what its name suggests. Inside is lined with San Francisco priced knick-knacks, food, and beverages of the warm and cold variety.

Jesus Christ... SLOW "service" to make boring overpriced sandwich. When orders ready its called out in broken English and thrown on counter roughly as they disappear with no eye contact or thank you. Whos in charge of this place? It could be SO much better!!!!

Nice coffee shop on a way to Golden Gate bridge. They got salads and sandwiches. The tuna sandwich with capers was tasty. A nice place to warm up on a rainy or windy day before reaching Golden Gate. There are also some souvenirs, books, etc. in shop.

Gets the job of food done, and as the name suggests, you go in there to warm yourself up from the cold pacific wind. Nice books and souveniors sold in here, including a book about prisoners of Alcatraz escaping and disappearing into thin air!

We didnt eat at warming hut cafe. But we were there for few minutes to see GG bridge. It has an amazing view of bridge and less crowded. I have heard lots of good reviews about warming hut cafe as well. Ill definitely try next time.

I get some kind of special positive feeling every time I visit this place. This hut is the only warm place where you can take shelter from outside cold winds. This place has very good view point of SF city and golden gate bridge.
