Great place to shop for all things natural and organic. I love that they offer free fruit for each kid that comes in. They offer cooking classes on the premises. They also carry organic and natural skin and hair care products. There is fresh cheese, fresh grains, premade dinners, fresh meats, salad bar, hot foods buffet, juice bar, fresh pizza, and bakery. My favorite thing to get are the pre-packaged salads and pasta. I always love to come here before I go out for a picnic with the kids. Its conveniently located right in front of the farmers market during the season. Theres also a lot of parking in the garage. My only issue is the high prices. I guess you gotta pay more for quality, organic produce and foods.

I love that PCC shares many of my same values and standards, especially with regard to meat. BUT, they really need to butcher better. The meat is good quality but terribly butchered a lot of the time. Thats one star off. The next star off is because of the pricing. Why is the same pack of egg noodles $5.99 at PCC and $2.99 at whole foods (aka whole paycheck!). Its like that with a lot of grocery items. I also feel that if Im paying $5.99 for a loaf of sliced bread, that it shouldnt be previously frozen. You can get the same thing at Costco for half the price, so makes sense that they buy in bulk and so is previously frozen. If you want to charge premium prices, provide premium products.

My car battery died in their garage last week. I was terribly upset, and visibly so. A fellow customer told me I should ask the manager if there was anyone that had jumper cables. After 20 min of waiting the manager came over to tell me they "didnt have any provisions for such things." What? Im not a homeless person looking for a handout. I was looking for 5 min of someones time. She was not very sympathetic either. (Luckily about 10 min after that a very nice man gave me a jump).

Love this supermarket, although it is known for being expensive, it is always very clean and has a great selection of vegan, gluten free, and etc. It is a great place to go if you have any kind of dietary restriction. They also offer cooking classes, and have a coffee/juice bar. They always have items that you cannot find anywhere else. Its a pleasure to go to, but probably not the best for your every day shopping unless you dont mind spending a little more.

In comparison to other PCC stores in the City of Seattle, although it appears to have the most floor space - Columbia City is the least logically laid out, has a lot of products I dont need and never seems to have the ones I want in stock. It is also very crowded with individuals in no hurry to make shopping decisions which makes getting in and getting out really hard. If it wasnt the only grocery store in the neighborhood I wouldnt go here at all.

This place is awesome! Really clean well organised store with lots of natural and organic local food choices. I am new to the PNW and unless there is something better I have yet to discover PCC natural markets is where I will be doing most of my grocery store shopping. I was using a place called sprouts in Oklahoma and it was a very good company. I am looking forward to forming a good relationship with a progressive thinking grocery company.

Im a regular here. Good produce, they label where things are coming from and help you find local stuff. Good specialty and organic selections. Tasty prepared foods. It is smaller and has more of a local feel than Whole Foods, but otherwise is pretty similar. Not cheap. But hey, farmers got to make a living too, right? I believe PCC promotes good brands and Im willing to pay a premium for that.

This is hands down my favorite PCC in Seattle. It doesnt have the air of entitlement that can be found at the West Seattle PCC and the layout seems more intuitive than other PCCs in the region. I wish this location had a larger beer selection and stocked options other than standard ales and IPAs. But, its really great to see a more diverse customer base and the hot bar is pretty great.

Has most everything, but less choices(brand options) within that. Pricy. It seems focused on convenience and prepared options. Some items are worth getting and some not so much. (Walk 1/2 a block south and get your meat from Bobs, is better quality and tasting. ) Overall it fine for a the quick forgotten items or when needing a specialized ingredient.

Really do love this place... but prices are ridiculously high and I am very disappointed that their new Taco Burrito area does not have any gluten-free options, and are not too many options for vegans =( some of the staff are very rude as well, but I keep coming because Im a healthy eater and wont let prices or rude employees stand in my way =)

Cool place! I used to work at whole foods, so im always scoping out othe natural stores and this one appeared to be running great. I could work here! The departments are well built and beautifully stocked. I was very pleased with their wellness section but the store overall was great. S/o Wolfgang who worked there and was super cool.>>

Best health food store to me. Compared to others that Ive shopped at, their prices are competitive. The deli is fabulous lots of great choices and lets not forget the taste, very flavorful. Great customer service, I know a few of them but name thats always fun when they know your name too. Shop PCC you will be pleased.

Your basic staples and produce at PCC are expensive and I never buy them. Their pre-made food options are where its at. Turkey Meatloaf? It will blow your mind. Stephs Tofu? Cant live without it. Cookies in any flavor imaginable, coffee in a variety of roasts. PCC rocks for when you forget your lunch.

Great location - conveniently locates in Columbia City, next to the Lightrail & park. The hot bar is a great option for a variety of quick meal options. They also carry a great selection of small plants and flowers. Any time I need something quick, I can count on finding it at PCC.

So glad this location opened up; especially good for produce, cheese, wine and prepared deli foods. Good selection throughout. A bit more expensive than larger chains, but well worth it for quality food. They offer a lifetime membership, definitely worth looking in to.

The quality here, especially produce is more consistent and better than anywhere else. There prices are good, especially when you consider they are careful to source stuff from trustworthy suppliers. Parking is a cinch with the underground garage off Rainier.

Huge, NEW structure, perfect location, tons more excellent products, great Staff, great Customer Service, as always. Being a Seattle native, I remember their small, vintage store in the Seward Park area. Still wonderful but this latest upgrade?- Right On!

PCC in Columbia City is always bustling with shoppers and workers alike. Everyone there is happy to answer questions and help you find what you need. They go out of their way to make sure your question is answered. It is a great neighborhood grocery store!

Pretty spectacular. Beats having to drive Downtown for Whole Foods. Theyve done well to cooperate with the Columbia City Farmers Market to bring in local produce. At least half of the fruit and vegetable selection had local and organic tags on it.
