Championship Motors are worse than your average used car salesman, especially the manager Atticus Weisner and the owner, Steve Spencer. This is the first time I have had an experience so bad that I had to write about it to warn people. They don’t treat people fairly here. They said their policy is first come, first served, but they did not do this for us. They asked us to wait an hour for nothing. They were disappointed when we said we were going to pay in cash because they condescendingly hoped we would have to pay by loan and then not qualify. When we asked Atticus to talk to the manager, he said he wasn’t available at first and then told him that it won’t change anything if he comes. Steve came down anyway and then threatened to call the police and physically dragged us out of their office when we asked to be treated fairly. Is there anything more insulting and offensive than being physically pulled in front of your daughter? She was emotionally shaken. When I asked them if they wanted this in a written review, the owner accused me of blackmail and stormed off! Maybe they treat white families with more dignity. Our family will never know. Being a veteran sure didn’t help. The only consolation was that I noticed the car being advertised for weeks after we tried to buy it, so apparently its sale to the other folks who came after us fell through. They sell vehicles the Mercedes dealership down the road can’t sell. Don’t waste your time or money promoting these crooked, downright evil businessmen.

**UPDATE** CHAMPIONSHIP MOTORS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! As of 2 days ago... On top of the $2100.00 worth of repairs that should have been disclosed at the time of sale, the vehicle now needs a new AC compressor which will be another 879.00 and now the brakes need replaced as well which is another 1500+. The repairs are literally amounting to equal the amount we paid for the ca about a month ago my fiancé and I purchased a vehicle from this lot. Customer service was great. The vehicle ran great for the first 4 days... Until the security switch in the steering wheel went out and the vehicle wouldnt start; That was $739.00 to fix. We thought "all was well", until the backend went out, rendering the vehicle undriveable. To fix the backend was another $1583.00. As a family with a fixed income, getting a car loan to purchase the vehicle was a stretch, but a decision we made to make sure we had, what we thought would be a reliable vehicle. Although, with some used vehicles, they may need some reasonable work here and there to ensure the integrity of the vehicle after purchase; however, the issues with our vehicle are beyond reasonable. After spending over 6,000 to purchase the vehicle, I am extremely disappointed. I dont know if the dealer knew what was wrong with the car. However, these are two major issues, that would have been hard to NOT notice while inspecting before selling to a customer. In the future when we purchase any vehicle, we will not be returning to this dealership.

I bought two cars there in cash in the span of 6months. Customer service depends on who helps you and they seem very annoyed if you have questions or concerns about the vehicle. Also, will add money you owe after signing and paying for your vehicle using the payment over your head before they send you lisence and registration. The positive is you can find what looks like a good car Negative may need a substantial amount of work, tires, battery, lights etc. Steve was the one that wrote me a letter telling me I had to X amount of dollars to get tabs (i had had car for 2 months) this was not his anymore to hold over my head, I paid because I honestly do not want to deal with them at all. Thier are "real" sales people they are all very unprofessional, How can owe money due to some inistitive for voters 2 months later (BS). What does that have to do with the paper you wrote up , I paid, and I signed, and I left with my car. Learn how to run a real business with trained employees. They have cool cars but they all have many thngs wrong and they are not willing to fix. I have to say my experience with Steve the Owner was so unprofessional improper, unethical, unprincipled, unscrupulous, dishonorable, disreputable, unseemly, unbecoming, an indecorous and I will never be back to purchase another vehicle.

Yeah these guys are definetely slimey. The pickup truck i bought there has a missmatched paint color on the front fender I didnt notice when I bought it because it was a cloudy day. Also the vehicle died 7 miles down the highway in the middle of traffic, losing all lights and power and stranding me on a dangerous narrow shoulder that was unnerving even the tow truck driver how dangerous of a situation it was. Since I lost power I didnt even have emergency flashers. So I got gouged for a 200 dollar tow to the dealerships mechanic that they would not pay for. They also would not pay for the $300 bill for the alternator they knew was bad and played off. I am an Iraq/Afghanistan veteran and I have no doubt these people sent me off knowingly in an unsafe vehicle. I could probably "Get Jesse" on these crooks. This story would probably shut them down if it was on KING5 news. Probably only take an email now that I think about it. Also I noticed all there positive reviews are in a short period of time and dont sound genuine to me. Also all these positive reviews in a row in a short period of time push back the consistent string of bad reviews so that they are less seen.

If I could give these guys no stars I would. If you can avoid it do not does business with these thieves. They sold me a vehicle that needed over $2,000 in transmission work. I test drove the vehicle on local streets and thought it was fine. After purchase I drove the vehicle on the freeway and noticed that it would not shift to overdrive so the vehicle could barely do 55 mph at 3000rpms. So I took it to the dealership and was told it needed major work. When I contacted Championship Motors Jared told me I bought the vehicle as is. I asked to bring the vehicle back and cancel the sale as I was wronged but they refuse to take it back. What bad business practice! I have already filed a complaint with the BBB and am filing a lawsuit as they have broken WA state law RCW 62A.2-314 which protects consumers from this very thing. I dont know how they sleep at night treating people this way. They will regret doing this to me I guarantee.

Championship Motors is one of the most professional used car dealerships I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. They are also more than happy to share the CARFAX with you and unlike some other dealers they also post all of their cars’ CARFAX online for easy viewing. Their staff was entirely no pressure, I walked away to think over my options and they let me go without even trying to save the sell, just said if I wanted the car feel free to come back and we’ll start the process. They then went above and beyond to help get me into a vehicle even though there was a small issue with financing as it was over a holiday weekend. This did not deter them and I would be more than happy to purchase from them again. I’m giving them 5 stars, the only issue I have is that their lot is kind of small so their selection isn’t always huge but anything they have on the lot is a quality car.
