What is there to say? If this bookstore doesnt have it, then they can usually get it! A staple bookstore of Olympian bookworms! I always go here for good prices on quality used books! They also buy and trade! This place also hosts community events from time to time, as many local spaces tend to do in this small city. Olympia is known for stellar local business support for the community. They have great works on Northwest history as well as sections for Sociology, Psychology, Gender Studies, Native American Studies, and then some! Always support your local businesses, bookstores should be no different! This is my personal favourite in Oly! Thanks Orca!

Great selection of new and used books and gift items related to such items. They used to give cash for books but now only offer in store credit, which seems to be a little on the frugal side, but its understandable given the competitors they have to stand up against. They have some great local gift options as well. The staff is mostly very nice and accommodating, though once in a while Ive come across a hipster who just couldnt be bothered with my ridiculous request for a books local. But, all in all, the place is still around for a reason, its pretty great.

You can always feel at home here and always find great books and the people here are so nice and helpful and there house cat is awsome they will order books for you if they dont have the books your looking for its easy to find I guarantee youll find more than what your looking for when I go I find 3 or 4 books and I always leave with a calming feeling thank you to all you people that work there and also to the people that keep this store going

Ive been shopping here for years and Ive always had good luck finding great used and new books. When they dont have what I need, theyve always been willing to order for me and give me a call when it arrives. In addition to books, they have fun racks of cards, journals, calendars, shirts, etc. to look through.

Really confusing atmosphere with incredibly helpful and knowledgeable employees. I love just walking up and down the isles to see what stands out. Their "featured" table is awesome and always seems to be changing when I go in which is a nice touch.

An Olympia mainstay, Orca Books is the most popular downtown bookshop, though there are a few. Theyll have the latest interesting reads and plenty of used books too. I just wish it was bigger. Say hello to the resident cat.

Really like this place. Has a great Olympia feel, yet do not have a superior attitude that some Olympia shops can give off. They have a vast selection of books with extremely reasonable prices. They carry my book too!

Hip book store with an interesting selection of both used and new books. The organization system is a little difficult to figure out though as books appear to be sorted by genre only rather than author or title.

Nice quiet cat friendly atmosphere. large selection of books that are not corporate sponsored. Plus you can find some rare ones too. I order book here because i like to grab a free cup of coffee while i browse
