I had unfathomably dismissive customer service at this location 12/12/15. Caucasian male at customer service interrupted me regularly, never looked me in the eye or talked to me directly and was visibly smug. He even interrupted me while giving my phone number as asked. It was hard to remain a smiling cooperative customer, which I started as. He would only give me a gift card as refund for shipment that arrived damaged (300lb furniture I had to lug three cities north to return). He sent me to furniture order desk where two employees sitting directly in front of me talked needlessly and unprofessionally together for a few minutes without making eye or verbal contact with me (black male and Caucasian female). Female employee slowly and begrudgingly spoke eventually and was ineffectual and dismissive, and I had to tell her I couldnt understand what she said (mumbled). I was told I could have the furniture shipped by GFS to store to avoid another return by the customer service rep and then this employee told me bluntly I could not. She noted I cannot be refunded for the shipping (which is ridiculous if toys r us cares an inkling about customer service and loyalty). I was told I "chose" to order online as a reason for lack of options and I noted it is only available online to which she indicated they arent really affiliated with the online store. That is a disappointing accountability avoidance by toys r us as a company. This was the most poorly trained and disinvested group of employees Ive run into in years. To be fair, the woman greeting people and aggressively telling them about signing up for their credit card was nice and the stocker who helped transport the furniture inside for me was excellent (he should be promoted to customer service and train the Mgr who was there.). Not shopping at this store again any time soon and will go to Bellevue instead.

After the first crib we bought here was recalled, we received a voucher to use to purchase a replacement. Well, the replacement was just recalled, so we went back again for yet another crib. This crib retailed for almost $300, which is about what we paid for it (voucher + out of pocket for the remaining balance) but today they tell us they will only give us about $150, because we dont have the original receipt, despite my husband packing up the entire crib and hauling it back to the store. Because yeah, we really keep receipts for purchases made two years ago. Please tell me how it is my fault that two of our cribs have been recalled, and why we should be out of money because of it? Oh, and they would only give us store credit, so we have to purchase yet ANOTHER crib here (that will most likely end up recalled in a few years as well) and deal with their crappy excuse for customer service yet again. I REALLY wish there was a competing store in the area so I wouldnt have to keep giving this place my business. The employees are completely clueless, and we have had nothing but hassles. UGH, stay away if you can!

They didnt have a nose frida, the most important baby item for a frantic parent!!! They never have teething wafers by happy baby. Ive asked multiple times. The girl whos assistant manager was so rude! Didnt even show where to find something I needed desperately, pointed me to a cluster of aisles 200 feet away. Whaaaa?? Bad bad customer service (except Amanda, shes great), everyone else... nope!!! Also they inundate you with products at checkout. oooh sooo annoying. No I dont want to open a credit card or donate anything, no I dont need batteries or a 2 year insurance plan for a $10 toy. Ugggh stop asking!!! Rant over.

The customer service is exceptionally bad. I know this from multiple experiences. Once I waited way too long to get a question answered while the associate was supposed to be looking up info on her computer, but the whole time she chatted loudly with her fellow associate about boyfriends. Ive asked associates where to find things in certain aisles and the answer is "I dont know." I only go here if its absolutely necessary.

Honestly - if you need diapers, wipes, baby food, formula, clothes, Lorton, detergent, etc, on a regular basis, get the credit card. I shop only on Thursdays so I can get the 10% discount. Plus I earn rewards points which add up surprisingly fast. The staff at this location is always friendly, helpful, and easy to find. The checkout lines are usually not long. I find the layout pretty basic and easy to navigate.

We have always had good customer service here, and they are always willing to price match. This store is particularly good- we just had a piece on our infant car seat chest piece break off, and we came in and they exchanged it for us. Amanda was very helpful, she is awesome! Everyone we have met at this location has been good to us and our family as first time parents!

Ive been here multiple times, and Ive rarely had a problem with service. Everyone is helpful and friendly. However, they arent very prompt. My wife and I had to wait 15+ minutes and ask for help twice before we got the information we needed. But they had everything we needed and when we got service it was top notch.
