This is a really wonderful place that you could call "the general store -- I go there regularly for fun stuff, toys for kids, housewares, nice linens, and even stationery. Its also got a great collection of books, old records, tapes, and seasonal items, like for Christmas, Thanksgiving, & Halloween. Magazines for collaging, craft projects, etc. Theres always a nice bunch of people working there and a real community feel. I agree with the last comment -- this is definitely not part of a chain. --Francesca

I liked it.. I got a 3 piece super 110 suit for $20. It had a little (ketchup?) stain on the lapel that came right off with a Tide to Go. The old ladies working there were very chipper and cheerful and always friendly. I will go back again in a month or two to check if suit stocks have been replenished.

My favorite thrift store. I have donated stuff here and shop here. The people that work here are lovely. I like that the money goes toward different charities and organizations and not someones back pocket.
