This place is alright. I go in and get what I need, and so does my wife, for the past year or so. Its convenient for the closeness, but prices are high on most products, sales are great though. The service is good and most everyone there is very positive and eager to help. However, the owner (I believe) is always too slow, rude, or just doesnt know what the heck hes talking about. I will come in and look for someone to help me and they always know how to fix what I need help in half the time that this guy takes. Its like he doesnt understand that Im in there to fix something thats urgent and I cant sit there and talk about it, but when you try to ward him off, he keeps on talking about awkward things. This must be the same for other customers because my wife has said the same thing. Another instance with this was last year, I was waiting in line to check out, and a lady was trying to return something. It didnt meet the return qualifications and she became extremely rude with the clerk. The owner then came over and proceeded to ARGUE with the customer and raise his voice! Its understandable that you may be frustrated about a rude customer, but for no reason should you be losing your temper and arguing with a customer... in front of other customers! In that case I felt so uncomfortable that I didnt feel it was worth supporting this business and the high prices. The last instance I will mention, I was in to buy a high speed cutoff wheel, and the one that they had in didnt have the right key hole diameter, and they didnt have the right size adapter. So the younger guy I always work with, went and got the owner. This was a big mistake. His suggestion was to use bearings and make my own adapter. I trusted his word and ended up destroying my grinder, cutting through my tile way deeper than I needed, and wasted my money in the first place with having me buy all that. Over $700 worth of damage. If youre going to suggest something to me, make sure youve done it before buddy. The only reason Id return is if I heard they had a new owner because everyone else there is great, somehow. For now, Mclendons Hardware every time I need help.

I went in this Ace with my boyfriend we split up in the store, when I noticed that the employees were following him around, I have been to this Ace over 20 times since moving to Graham and they have always been very pleasant. I was unable to find what I was looking for so I walked over to my boyfriend to see if he found it, thats when it seemed like we had a private escort down each row, we eventually got what we needed, it was behind the counter paid for it and went to leave. Well every employee that worked there were standing by the door and 1 man in front of the door, he said to my boyfriend give me the clip he was talking about a clip that he had on his keys that was old and rusted he was accusing him of stealing it well after proving them wrong as they stood there berating us like we were thieves they had to let us go. Here is the most shocking part they didnt apologize they didnt even seem embarrassed for the mistake instead they said to us to not come back in there because they would call the cops because they didnt want our kind in there. Oh yeah my boyfriend is Puerto Rican and I am white, so I am led to believe that by our kind they either meant him because of his race or us because we are an interracial couple, unless they dont like people in theyre mid 40s.

Recently moved to Graham and was pleased to see an Ace Hardware located within a mile from my home. I have been there at least 10 times already, and every time I left disappointed because they did not have what I need. I want to be very clear that I was not looking for the type of selection offered at Lowes or Home Depot. I tend to prefer the small Ace Hardware stores for core items. But this location seems to be very slow and careless when it comes to replenishing stock. Today I wanted to buy a wood file. They didnt have a wood file! And you know what? They didnt have one the last two times I was there either. This is a core item for a hardware store. there should be a selection. This is what Ace is supposed to be good at. You will see examples of this throughout the store. This place has an isle of kitchen ware that looks well stocked though! Pots, pans, etc. I hope they fix this store!

Horrible customer service. I have been there twice in the last week and have been ingnored both times. I asked for help the first time and the young female working didnt even answer my simple Question of where something was just said she was busy (she was just standing behind the counter)The second time I didnt even bother asking and just walked up and down the isles until I realized that didnt have what in needed. Both times it wasnt that busy and their were pleantly of staff. My husband also had an issue when buying a sander that they kept locked up, the gentleman acted as if it was an iconvience to him that my husband wanted to buy it. It is extremely close but they will no longer be getting our business we will make the drive to Home Depot.

What a complete joke this store is. Argumentative employees follow you around asking if you need help finding things, they do this more as an anti theft practice than to be helpful because if you say "yeah can you help me find ......." they have no idea where in the store it is. Only go here if if is a hardware emergency, Graham is due for a home Depot or a tractor supply.

This Ace Hardware sucks they treat the people that come in there like theyre thieves they act like everyones there to steal if you really want to be the helpful hardware place then when I tell you I do not need assistance walk away

Pretty good assortment of hardware, Expensive, have a way of taking a $0.15 item and putting it in a $2 package and selling it for $7.95, I guess that is Aces fault, not the stores.. But Expensive
