I walked into this place and was instantly taken back to my childhood! The sights, sounds and smells of the neighborhood video rental store made memories flood to the front of my mind. Dont get me wrong, I like the convenience of redbox just as much as the next guy, but nothing can compare to walking into a place like this, holding tangible dvd cases and speaking to someone who is knowledgeable about movies! Plus, FREE popcorn on the way out??? I LOVE Silver Lake Video!

This place brings back the good old days of getting a movie and candy when I was a kid. They have every movie, show, etc you could possibly want to watch. The prices are very reasonable and they have deals going on all the time. Customer service is always great and they are open late. If youre tired of paying $1.50 per day for redbox and are tired of the limited viewing options of Netflix, then head on down to slv and rent a couple movies.

Nice place, not all the games or movies youd ever want but a very very good selection. I also like their pricing its competitive and the service is great. Much as I love my netflix and red boxes sometimes a local store is nice to have. So to me its a 5 star place. I love that I can prepay for days and if I dont get it back by then they jsut tack it on for later at the same price. No insane late fees.

Im super old school and still love to go out and wander around a video store trying to find some entertainment for the weekend. Silver Lake Video is an awesome place to go. The staff is really knowledgeable and friendly, and the selection is huge. Theyve got excellent rental and sale specials and free fresh popped popcorn. Honestly, you cant go wrong. Support your local business!

The staff is awesome with recommendations for films ranging from eclectic to Blockbuster! They have a great library with incredibly good prices on library titles. New releases way before Comcast and you can see between two and five of them for the price of a new release on Comcast

Great for nostalgia, but also for having new releases before anyone else. A lot of the kids movies are FREE. You can call ahead and reserve a movie and theyll have it at the counter ready to checkout when you show up. Theres a reason people in the area keep coming back here.
