After reading a bunch of great reviews online, I headed down to Painless Steel in Everett to get an upper ear cartilage piercing. While there, I talked to Jerry about my four abandoned earlobe piercings, too (both done over 20 years ago, with no jewelry in them for the last 10 or so). He was wonderful, really easy to talk to, and put me at ease right away, so by the time we picked out jewelry and then went back to do the piercing, I was very excited. He has a great eye for placement, too -- the spot he picked on my upper ear was just where Id been thinking Id like it, and it looks terrific. He was great at communicating what he was doing and when hed do it, and saved all four of my lobe piercings -- they look great! While I wouldnt say an upper ear cartilage piercing is "Painless", he was TERRIFIC, and definitely made it as painless as it can possibly be. I also got good instructions and material for cleaning and aftercare, and he encouraged me to call or stop by if I had any questions. Im very happy with the results, and will definitely go back next time Im ready to pierce something.

My daughter wanted her nose pierced and we didnt feel like driving down to Seattle. Based on these good reviews, we decided to try out Painless Steel. Well, we were not disappointed. My daughter was thoroughly informed of every step of the procedure, as well as the after-care requirements. Frank was just a really nice guy and put her at ease. His attention to cleanliness was OUTSTANDING, I watched him change his gloves at least 3 times. In fact, the whole establishment was very clean and impressive - also liked it being large and not feeling like I was in a hole-in-the-wall kind of place. They had a great selection of tattoos and I intend to go back to finish looking at those. I wouldnt hesitate to have anything done here. A very positive experience.

Got my navel done the lady was very comforting and kind. Its perfectly straight and isnt shallow at all which I love. Recently I got it infected and they we perfectly ok taking a look at it for me and telling me what to do. They didnt use a clamp which worried me but afterwards I could see why the piercing was way less shallow than what I have seen online which was a concern for me. I do not like a lot of ring showing in a navel. The piercing actually didnt hurt at all she was very calm even when the jewelry came out of her clamps. It was my first piercing at a shop and I really enjoyed it. They also carry titanium barbells which is great because I am allergic to nickel.

First the piercer thought I was getting my belly button done when I said monroe, got all set up for the wrong thing, second hes a "freestyle" guy and didnt use a clamp, even after I asked about it. He couldnt get the jewelry in for ten minutes and kept moving the needle in my mouth, causing lots of pain, then had to clamp it and re-pierce it. The second piercing hurt worse than the first time because of the swelling. He still charged too much and actually had the nerve to ask for a tip! Unprofessional, over-priced, definitely not PAINLESS. I will not even go back to get my jewelry changed out.

I had a great experience on my first visit to schedule an appointment for my tattoo. The workers were very friendly and embracing. I got to meet my tattoo artist immediately and he was really cool. His name is Eric and I was actually referred to him by my mother. She bragged about him and I can understand why. He tattooed a traditional wooden rosary on my forearm and it came out awesome!! If you havent yet, start setting up those appointments! You wont regret it!!!

I went to painless steel for my first facial piercing (Im 14) and it was really good. I filled out the paper work and the piercer talked me through what was going to happen. he had me take a deep breath in then he pushed the needle through then told me to exhale. Im not a bleeder but he cleaned around it bit then talked me through how to take care of it and gave me the piercing cleaner and mouth rinse. It was a great experience all in all :)

Jerry did my piercing. I will say this...the shop is extremely clean, which is of the utmost importance. The part that was better was how personable, calming and just flat out cool be is. I will say I didnt come across a single person in that shop that wasnt friendly and just happy to be alive! Hard to find these days. Was visiting family in the area and glad I found this place!!!

I got my belly button pierced here, and have no problems with it. I love it, along with my piercing cleaner and the jewelry I got with it. However, every time I have tried to go back, they are closed, even when they are supposed to be open. It seems like every time I drive by there they are closed. My little sister called there on her birthday, and they were closed.

I came here the other night to get my nose pierced and it was great! I came in 25 minutes to closing and the piercer, Jerry, was helping someone else and by the time he was done, the shop was closing in ten minutes but he made time for me anyway and it was over so quick. I would definitely recommend coming here for piercings.

I have 12 ear piercings. I have gone to tons of places to get pierced and by far Painless Steel is the best I have gone to them for 4 of my piercings. The place is very clean and friendly. I will never go to any other place. Best experience piercing, the piercer makes every piercing painless and quick.

i got my belly button done there. he walked me through what was going to happen and made me as relaxed as possible. it did feel uncomfortable but wasnt as painful as I thought. he gave me a brochure for all the cleaning and care that I need. plus they give free piercings on your 18th and 65th bithday

I went here to get an industrial piercing. The staff was very friendly, easy to talk to, and made me less nervous to get it. If I got another piercing, I would go here. They are very good at what they do and I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to get a piercing.

Ive been coming here for all my tattoos and piercings. I have a bridge, belly and brow piercing, all done very well. Ive gotten two tattoos from Eric, whose funny and does great ink. The piercer is also transgender friendly, which is nice. :-) would recommend coming here!
