My boyfriend and I did quite a bit of research before we went shopping for a replacement mattress for our futon (which gets a lot of use). Being in sales myself for decades, I understand what it takes to maintain a high level of professionalism, customer service & support as well as a wide range of knowledge. We knew exactly what we wanted, made an efficient route of more than 4 places to shop & hopped along to all of them. Mattress City was our 4th stop & we had one more to go. Upon entering, Stewart greeted us & managed us well between customers. When he was fully available, he devoted his entire attention to us & answered all of our questions quickly with obvious experience & a full range of knowledge. It was clear he had our interests in mind & made sure to direct us to exactly what we needed, helped educate us on differences in quality, and made suggestions to help us protect our investment (high quality mattress protective cover). We did wind up leaving the store & made the last stop so we could make the best decision with information from each place on our list. When we let him know that we wanted to make one more comparison, he had no change in demeanor & remained friendly & professional unlike a different sales person at another store who warned me to be leery of other sales tactics (she turned me off by doing that & lost a bit of respect). Stewart, on the other hand, was great from start to finish. It didnt take us long to come right back to Mattress City. By far... The absolute best place to go. The most knowledgable, the least pressure, the most sensitive to our needs, the most friendly, and truly enjoyable experience. It also helped that we shared a common thread of being Seahawks fans. After the sale was made, everything came through just as it was promised. The delivery went very well. Our old mattress was hauled away & weve been enjoying our new mattress ever since! So it is now April and we have owned our new bed for almost 5 months. I wrote the below review of our great experience with Stewart and the family business, fast delivery, no bullshit sales and the excitement that we enjoyed from Stewart that comes from loving what you do. Now I would like to tell you that all the medical benefits that Stewart told us about are true. after seeing my doctor a week ago I had to go in and visit Stewart and tell him the good news. Just by raising our heads a couple inches we have found relief from our various medical issues, such as acid reflux, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, neck and back pains and best of all, I have been migraine free for 5 months! the first time since I was 19 yrs old. Read my review on YELP for the full story! Thank you again Stewart. I am now a believer. As we grow older we need better and better sleep.... and it gets harder and harder to sleep for many reasons. I am feeling younger and healthier now due to my new bed! SLEEP RULES!!! Jan 2017 I loved the warm welcome and relaxed conversation. no pressure and super friendly. I enjoyed talking with the whole family and the financing was super easy and unintimidating. I told the owner, who was a wealth of information, you are either hopped up on caffeine or you REALLY love your job. He said he loves his job and it showed. I felt like they all really wanted the best for us and I would recommend going to Matress City for any of your sleep comfort needs. GREAT JOB YOU GUYS!! My husband and I have been looking for a quality mattress for a few years. It seems many mattresses and bed companies have as many positive as negative reviews. I found this very discouraging. I decided to go and check out Mattress City and I had a welcomed surprise. Stewart greeted me at the door and was very upbeat, but not pushy. You can think of Stewart as a kind of mattress nerd. Youll learn far more about mattress than you thought possible. :) He is a wealth of information and answered all my questions about mattresses and companies. He also understood exactly what I was looking for. I didnt want to play games and I needed a quality mattress for a good price. My husband and I decided on a Serta I Comfort Plush with a Serta adjustable bed. It was a bit more than we intended to spend, but well worth it in our opinion after sleeping on our new set up just two nights. After years of frequent waking up through the nights over many years, we are both sleeping soundly through the night. I actually feel a little hung over from getting too much good sleep! I went from sleeping about five hours (on our previous mattress) to seven hours a night (which should really improve my health). I think I have to get use to getting good sleep again - if you can believe it. The delivery men were wonderful and very kind. Trevor (the lead deliveryman) even brought two foundations (for my daughters new mattress) so I could see which would work best on her bed. Outstanding service all around.

Mattress city is a great family-owned, customer-obsessed business. Stewart took the time to explain the different mattresses, pros and cons of each, without using the opaque mattress jargon that we had gotten at other stores. Mattress city was the fourth store we visited, the others were savvy, sleep country and sears. Every store seemed to have the same "lines" of mattresses but all with different prices and different names and confounding reasons as to why they were all different from each other! Mattress city did not carry most of the standard mattress lineup, but seemed to conscientiously choose which brands to carry based on quality, warranties and good business practices. The mattress we found was exactly what we wanted and we got a great deal on it! We especially liked that instead of charging us to take away our old mattress they gave us money off our new mattress and will donate the old mattress to the Everett Gospel Mission to aid the homeless. Overall we had a very good buying experience with Stewart: he was funny, candid and informative, while also being patient enough to make sure we got the right bed for us. All while never crossing over into being at all patronizing! We will definitely be referring our friends and family here when they need new mattresses. Note- I also posted this on yelp, just didnt feel like writing out a completely new one for Google too :)

Went to a couple of big name mattress stores before I walked into Mattress City and I was getting very discouraged because I wasnt finding a mattress to fit my needs on my budget. When I walked into Mattress City I was immediately greeted by Stewart. He was very polite and friendly and asked what kind of mattress I was looking for. I described my back issues and what I was looking for and he pointed me to the mattress I was looking for which also happened to be one of their lower priced mattresses. The mattress he pointed out was exactly what I was looking for. I didnt want to buy the first mattress I laid on in the store so I wandered around and laid on a couple of the higher priced memory foam mattresses but I came back to that first mattress because that was exactly what I was looking for. Stewart made the buying process so easy and didnt try to sell me any extras (except for the mattress cover because I have a toddler and I really needed it) and he even threw in free delivery/removal of my old mattress. The delivery guys showed up on time and were in and out of the apartment within 10 minutes. I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a hassle free mattress shopping experience :)
