Im only giving this place five stars so people see this review, they actually deserve zero. They are very judgemental I have been to this Hobby Lobby twice before today and have never had a problem before, I normally visit the one down in Lynnwood but today I was taking a friend because she had gotten a gift card for her birthday. I was in there for less than 10 minutes before I had a cop 2 ft behind me following me around so I questioned him and asked what he needed and if I could help him with something and he said not yet. I then walked over to my friend who he had apparently already harassed and had told that he was following us because we were not quote-unquote normal Hobby Lobby customers so just because Im not a little old lady or a Sunday school soccer mom I deserve to be followed and had assumptions made about me? I dont find that right I understand that its a bad part of Everett and that that police officer is meant to be there to patrol the store, but standing two feet behind me and my friend for a good 3 minutes before we finally decided to leave because we didnt feel comfortable or welcome in that store anymore is not right. So if youre an artist or anything else but you dont look like a soccer mom or a little old lady I recommend going to a different Hobby Lobby because you will be followed and you will be uncomfortable. when I called the manager to tell him that we had just left his store in tears due to being so uncomfortable and being profiled he didnt seem to care at all and thats not a good manager. Just save yourself the judgmental negative energy and go to a different Hobby Lobby one that actually follows the Christian standards they are supposed to hold up to.

This used to be my favorite store until I went shopping there today and the Co-Manager Scott followed me and stopped me in an aisle full of people and told me he had me on video stealing jewelry. I asked to see the video and he refused. He then had me dump my purse out into my cart and said I had been shoving things in there. After he embarrassed me in front of everyone and escorted me out of the store (Yes, I was still shopping and had all my items INSIDE MY CART. Not on me or in my purse.), he refused to give me his last name or let me speak with anyone above him. He then said he never accused me of stealing from Hobby Lobby and after realizing that he was WRONG, he never apologized. He completely humiliated me in front of other customers, invaded my privacy. I will never shop there again. Scott, I hope you get fired and you need a lesson in Loss Prevention 101.

Alway nice to see anonymous reviewers give their "tolerant and open minded" opinions concerning how a company does business. It just oozes courage of conviction and integrity, doesnt it? Guess it makes it easier to totally ignoring the rights the founding fathers put in place for those they disagree with, but Im sure the liberal ideologue want to put a pox on the founding fathers house also. LOL! But oh well, this is what how it is right now in Wa, State and the nation. Back to Hobby Lobby, great store, great service, great selection and fun to shop at, just wish it were a little closer to where I live. Youll be hard pressed to find another hobby shop with the selection they have in as many hobby areas as they have.

While shopping for drawing pencils and drafting supplies, on my lunch break, (in my professional office clothes!) I heard security paged to every part of the store I was in, and at one point, I was being very closely watched and followed. I was being selective about my pencil purchase and reading the packaging - nothing fishy. They could have asked me if I needed assistance but instead they made me feel like a criminal. Like I mentioned before, I was dressed professionally, so its not like I look like a bum. The only thing I can think set me apart from the other shoppers is the color of my skin. No longer shopping at a store that discriminates, and is more likely to send security out instead of customer service.

Layout is awful, it is a craft store, but all the crafts are in the back, you have to walk through a bunch of non-crafts to get there. Aisles arent marked with what is in them, so if you know what you want you have to wander around until you find it. When I complained, I was told very happily that it is a corporate issue. Thats obvious, but she didnt even acknowledge my complaint and acted happy to hear a complaint. It was insulting and demeaning, obviously she had never been taught how to handle complaints. Returned my one product and will never set foot in any Hobby Lobby again due to layout designed to encourage needless splurging on stuff you didnt even want.

I bought several glass bowls for some flower arrangements and was told by the cashier that as long as I had the reciept, I could return them if they werent the right kind. After finding out that I had gotten the wrong kind, the manager refused to give me any kind of refund or exchange credit because they had been used. I have never in my life had such poor customer service!!! Of course they were used!!!! I had to see if they were going to work for what I needed......I guess now I have glass bowls that I cant use and dont need. I will NOT be going back to this store again. I will stick with Ben Franklin and Michaels thank you very much!

I like their stuff, It is overpriced though. Im always glared at by staff and just yesterday was accused of trying to steal. I put my key ring in my shopping basket at the beginning of shopping. I paid for my stuff, took my keys and phone out, and walked over to put my basket back. The lady at the register walked over and asked if I was going to purchase those items. I held up my phone and keys and said, ate you talking about these? She said, yes you need to pay for those before you leave the store. I told her theyre my keys and phone, she still didnt believe that they were something that I brought in

This is a nice Hobby Lobby. They always have cool stuff to find, I love the candle scents (will buy some soon) and seasonal decorations. I love looking at their clearance sections usually for glass items and they accept the 40% off an item coupon from my phone. Its kind of a hit and miss when it comes to service. They either dont have a big staff or some of the workers there avoid you. A few months ago, I could barely get help but recently theres some ladies that are helpful.

Hobby Lobby was not what I expected. If youre looking for a wide selection of plastic model kits, RC kits and equipment, et cetera, this is not the store for you. Although they had a great selection of Testors paints and model building tools, their selection of kits is limited. This store caters more toward home furnishings. If thats what youre looking for, then you will have a wide range of interesting products to choose from.
