Ive dealt with multiple eye health issues since birth and I have seen numerous eye doctors of various specialties. Now in my 40s, complications from Lasik surgery, complications form a retinal tear and age related vision deterioration have made eye care a primary concern. Overlake EyeCare has provided years of excellent care. Recently, I started seeing Dr. Boparai who has provided exceptional care. Dr. Boparai took the time to listen to every detail of my concerns (probably why some of you complain about waiting!) and, after a thorough examination, he clearly explained the various issues affecting my vision. Using a combination of an innovative prescription for glasses and a prescription for drops (i.e., non-surgical solutions), Dr. Boparai helped me regain much of the vision I feared was lost and, crucially, he helped me be able to drive at night again. I have never felt more informed and at peace with the state of my vision. Thank you Dr. Boparai.

Awful customer service. When I arrived for my appointment there were four receptionists and one other patient at the counter. The "receptionists" refused to notice me and were giving hard time to the patient whom they apparently grossly overcharged for her glasses. I have no idea why they need four people at the reception desk to deal with one customer. Finally, when I asked to be helped, two of the receptionists began taking my information, while at the same time taking information from a third patient. So here we were - two receptionists and two patients cross-pollinating our personal data. The entire process felt surreal and I asked to cancel my appointment and left. I would not trust this place to do a good job and would not advice anyone to use them, except maybe if you would like to experience the excitement of a flea-market while having an eye exam.

I have been seeing Dr. Boparai for many years now. I am also in the medical field, and am very impressed with his knowledge and approach. He is friendly, caring, and helpful in making the procedure easy and educational. I have no problem referring any of my patients to Dr. Boparai.

I dont have anything against the doctors, they are great, but office personal literally sucks. If you dont want your mood to be spoiled for the rest of the day - dont come here
