Every time I have gone there is only one cashier! I am new to sewing and crafting and so I needed help finding two items that I couldnt find. I found an employee and when I asked for her help she stuck out her hip and pointed to the sewing section telling me it was in there. I ended up asking the Husquvarna ladies who are not employed by JoAnn for help and they helped me find the items. Round two. I needed a small stick to add onto my sewing machine so that I could double feed my thread. I searched multiple times for a small plastic stick and couldnt find it. There were two ladies at the fabric table with others waiting around them. When appropriate I asked them for the item I needed and showed them on my manual of what it was. The same blonde lady who was less than helpful pawned me off to the brunette one pointing us towards the sewing section saying it was in there. Myself, husband, and new employee searched multiple times again for the same stick! Upset at our long search the blonde one marched over in a huff pointing at an item. I corrected her saying it wasnt the item I needed and explained pointing at the sewing machine part in the manual. She then said that they dont have it and marched back without a second thought. Needless to say I am unsubscribing myself from them and I do not want to step foot in that store unless I ABSOLUTELY have to! I will be going to Pacific Fabrics from now on.

Came in last week and I dont usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so now. I had a sales women named Suzanne help me with a few questions I had regarding a garment I was making, and I felt like she couldnt give a dame. I felt rushed and that I was just another face to her. I should mention that I come in quite often and while she is usually very rude I felt this instance was particularly bad. I dont understand why they have someone like that working for Joanns? She obviously didnt like or care about what she is selling. All I needed was 5 minutes of her time, but no, she was " to busy" to actually help someone. Its not like its your job?! Please get rid of her or at least hid her in the back.

I live in the remote village of Dillingham on the Western Coast of Great State of Alaska. We do not live on the road system. Everything has to be flown into our village. I had purchased all of the black swirl on gray that the JoAnn stores in Alaska had. Through the corporate office I was emailed a list of which stores in Washington had the fabric that I needed and how much they had. I contacted the Arlington store and received excellent service and professional efficacy. The transaction was done properly and the package was sent to Wenatchee. Thank-you Arlington JoAnn store for your service!

The employees are not very knowledgeable or friendly. Most items I need are not fully stocked when I need them and forget about getting a piece of fabric. The line is always out the door for fabric cutting. ALWAYS! I live close by and stop in regularly and the line is always impossible. I just dont have that kind of time to wait for a yard of muslin. The check out line is also ridiculous most days. They also constantly change products, prices, and packaging making it difficult to get consistent craft supplies there.

The associates are in no hurry unless its about time to close the doors, when closing time approaches they actually approach you while your shopping and inform you of the time left before closing. I was told that I ONLY had five minutes left and was said in a tone as to hurry up. They also talk about customers with one another in a negative manner. This type of situations is very typical of this store and I will never go back again.

I have shopped at JoAnns for years. They have a great selection of everything, especially fabric. My rating is just "ok" because the checkout lines are awful. You wait in line a long time, and they never have more than one cashier working. I have bailed on my cart and left, many times. Still a great craft store, if youre not in a hurry!

A little hard to get help. Staff seemed more interested in talking to each other and completing their tasks. My requests were clearly an interruption to their workday. That being said, they were able to direct me to what I needed and prices were reasonable.

Great selection. Make sure to keep take a ticket early on weekends if you are getting fabric. They always take coupons from phones. Look them up online before you check out. Many times you can use more than one.

Small selection. Empty shelves. Be prepared to stand in line forever as it is poorly staffed by untrained employees. Unfortunately the only game left in town, so they can be crappy and still survive.
