The salesperson was helpful but the delivery service is awful. The two people they sent to deliver the mattress and foundation and sofa did not want to work. They proclaimed that all of the furniture wouldnt fit up the inside stairway to our apartment before they unloaded it. After I told them we had already moved a full size mattress into the apartment on our own for the spare bedroom the grudgingly unloaded the mattress and foundation. The delivery driver didnt make an effort to deliver the sofa until I called the warehouse manager. My husband asked him if he had anything to measure to door opening. We finally just sent them on their way with the sofa. His parting words were Buy a love seat! I will never buy furniture here again. When I went to the store to get my money back I was told they have some warehouse issues! I guess so!

They dont stand behind their products. I bought an expensive Beautyrest mattress set that is defective -- the bed sags horribly. They say the warranty is invalid because I didnt buy the mattress protector and there is a very slight stain on the mattress from my dog. Almost invisible. The technician who came to see the mattress didnt even notice it -- I stupidly pointed it out, not knowing that it would void my warranty. Typical -- a warranty which they use any loophole to avoid honoring. Ive been a good customer of this company but never again. UPDATE Although GHF has responded to the post as below, I have yet to hear from them. As far as I can tell, I am stuck with a very poor quality, and very uncomfortable, product, and it will be a long time before I can afford to purchase another mattress set.

I will never buy a single piece of furniture from this place after the experience I had. Im getting ready to buy a house and was just looking around to see my options. I wasnt ready to buy anything yet. But what did it was when my father and I went inside grands furniture to just look everyone was nice and friendly at first offered us drinks and pop corn. But when we left not a single word. One of the mangers open the door for us as we were leaving not a thank you come again have a nice day nothing but a rude look all because Im guessing we didnt buy anything. Just like I said. I just went in there to look. But since that experience I wont be back and little do they know my father has spent over 3,000 dollars in that place. He also will never be back. Ill spend my money elsewhere.

Great variety of choice. Nice Floorplan, ease to maneuver around. Very nice . Salesman helpful and informative without being pushy. Free Coca Cola when you come in the door. 30 day free in-home trial of furniture. A protection plan you pay for that is good for 5 years and if you dont use it you get the money to used for the next purchase protection plan. No I dont work there, but it was a really great experience.

Went to the Schewel store down the street first. Couldnt get of there fast enough! I felt negative energy the whole time I was there, anyway.. Decided to visit Grand Home Furnishings instead. Not only did they have the recliner I was curious about seeing (which was too small), but the customer service was top-notch. Ended up getting super nice recliner. Mr. Fox is the man to see.

Will never buy another piece of furniture again. Had to return what I brought because of damage, I tried to return and get a new one, but to no avail, customer service stinks. I am still waiting for my refund, as I sent the piece of furniture back. Dont let the free sodas and popcorn fool you. Its like pulling teeth from these people to do the right thing!

FINALLY, a furniture store with some old fashioned values. Salespeople were pleasant and did not hover, and the furniture is beautiful!! Every single person I walked by, were very nice and seemed sincere, unlike the other stores I visited. I think I am have found my new living room set!!
