Put in a prescription at 12:00 noon, by 1:00 pm the pharmacy staff still had not been able to fill the order. I dont get a lot of prescriptions, but when I do, I do expect it to take less than an hour. Never had to wait this long for a prescription in my life. Shortly after noon, they started it would only be 20 minutes. This is ridiculous! Update... after waiting over an hour, then calling back, they said it would be 15 more minutes and they would call us. Half an hour after calling them, still no call back. Went into the store, they had the prescription ready finally. It was a closed box of medicine, that they had put into a brown paper bag. There were no pills to count, no baggies to measure, no vials of liquid. It was one sealed box, that the pharmacy put into a brown paper bag, and stapled closed. It took over an hour and a half to put a box into a bag. Never coming back to this CVS. If you value your time in any way, go somewhere else. Somewhere that values the customer. Not this CVS. Next time I want to wait this long for a prescription, I will have my doctor send the prescription to somewhere in Richmond or Charlottesville or Frederick Maryland. It will still take as long, but I wont have to waste my time at CVS or the Subway parking lot across the way.

I cannot say enough about the excellent customer service at the Blackwell Rd CVS Pharmacy - whether I am at the store, on the phone or in the drive thru, the staff is always courteous, patient, and extremely helpful. Even at their busiest, the pharmacy team is incredibly friendly. I am always impressed!
