Took my vehicle to the Dam Neck Tread Quarters after years of going to the Tread Quarters off of Nimmo and Upton Road after feeling like I was being taken for a ride after new management changes. I walked in and immediately felt welcome and reassured after talking with Mark Messmore of my bad experience at the other Tread Quarters. He is a top notch manager and takes the time to explain what is wrong with the vehicle and has even taken pictures of the problem with my truck and sending them to me to show the issue. Honestly, I have never in my life had someone take the time to show me the problem while it is on the lift. To be quite honest, my entire adult life I have never trusted mechanics, UNTIL I was introduced to Mark Messmore. He even took the time to tell me I did not need the repairs I said I needed, who would do that? Finally, if you are wanting peace of mind and quality work go to the Tread Quarters on Dam Neck Road, you will not be disappointed. Steve B.

My wife brought our Explorer here for the state inspection and they told her it did not pass and all of her rotors needed to be replaced as well as the shocks before they would pass it. The cost with labor was over 500 dollars. She took the vehicle to the dealership and they told her there was nothing wrong with the rotors and she just needed her brake pads replaced. I just took my Jeep Wrangler there and they also failed the inspection. One of the reasons was due to a bolt on my front sway bar being loose. I had them show me and then needed to explain to them that they re-assembled the sway bar incorrectly and the reason it was loose was because it is a quick release sway bar and it was designed that way. I question their knowledge if they cant even put the thing back together the way it was. I will not take my vehicles there any more. They will try to take advantage of people who dont know any different (such as my wife).

I took my car in and got a quote for labor. At the bottom of the receipt it says "TOTAL LABOR COST $522". The labor was not itemized, and all they provided on labor was the total cost. Then, when I took the quote back to them a few days later to have the work done, they decided they added wrong and tried to convince me that the $522 was just for SOME of the work. How do you write TOTAL LABOR COST and then try to tell me that it is only quoting some of the work? I am also a woman, and when I questioned how that was possible, they treated me like I was a complete idiot. They were absolutely horrible. DONT TAKE ANYTHING HERE.

walking distance from my house so i always get my oil change here, the first time i did they forgot to put the cap back on my car and the oil splashes on my engine, took it back they fixed it and washed the engine, plus they gave me a free oil change next time i visit, i was hesitating to go back but i gave them a chance, and the fact oil change was free so i went ahead and got it, so they did i dropped off my car at 730am finished by 12pm!!! what the hell? it wasnt even backed up there, only 2 cars are parked on the parking lot and they took 4 hours and half to do my oil change? will never going back here ever!.

This is the Tread Quarters off of dam neck and general booth. Absolutely clueless people and theyre not professional. Especially the fat dude at the front desk. They cant even align a car properly AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! Unless you want to be treated like you have no clue about anything and over charged for cheap half ass work. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!! And fire the fat idiot "manager" at the front desk.

This place sucks! 2 1/2 hours to fix a flat. Just a flat. My low tire pressure light was still on afterwards so I went back and they said they dont check tire pressure on all of your tires just the flat one they repaired but earlier they had the hood up so I asked why it was up and they said they check everything when it comes in even for a flat. Apparently not the tire pressure! Btw its called Tread Quarters.

Superior customer service! Mark was very professional and very clear and thorough in his explanation of the service my vehicle required. His prices were competitive and he went the extra mile to ensure I was getting the best possible price. DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANYTHING!!! This Place deserves worst than a Star!! First thing i notice was when i came in everyone who worked there was just standing around doing nothing. I came for a simple inspection, next thing you know they tried to get me for over $600 in repairs to pass.I took it else where and it passed. This place is full of Mechanic Nazis.

I will never go back there again. Not only is the short guy at the front(who Im pretty sure is the manager) a huge jerk, very rude and unprofessional. I had problems with my vehicle after they changed the oil. I took it in for them to look at it and what a joke that was! And while waiting 2 more customers came in with complaints as well!

Took my wifes van in for a check on her brakes, and got a slew of sudden "issues" brought to my attention. Received the quote, which was well over $1500. Took the same quote to three other tire/repair locations who laughed at it. Family member who owns his own repair shop chuckled and told us he could do it for under $400 WITH labor...

Went in for an inspection. Was informed my parking break failed. No problem, I never use it so I wouldnt have known there was an issue. Took it to another shop and tried the parking break in the lot. Car stopped immediately. Asked for an inspection, car passed with no issue. We wont be back which is sad because the people were great.

My son and I went shopping this morning at farm fresh near their shop. When we were going home our car just went dead and stopped right near the road. I called the shop and told them my car just died and they sent people right out to help. They got me out of a tight spot! They will continue to be the place that we take our cars to.

Horrible experience, stripped my oil pan bolt then attempted to charge me $300. Safe to say i never gave permission for the charge and didnt emd up having to pay. Will never be going here again and the little * at the front desk doesnt realize how lucky he was not to get knocked the hell out for trying to blatantly rip me off.

Took my wifes 08 hyundia here for an inspection to get it failed for headlight allignment. When I asked them how the hell the headlights could be off they said "they just work loose over time" this is a lie. They moved my headlights to charge me another $30. These people are criminals.
